This is by far the best hot chicken I have ever had!! It was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The fried corn is an absolute experience in itself! The fried okra was whole and amazing as well! We enjoyed the atmosphere chatting with Granddaddy himself. Nothing about it will disappoint except not getting there!!
First timer, will not be my last. It feels like you're coming to a family members house, from the time you come in the door till you exit. I purchased the half chicken with amazing collard greens and to die for okra. This is located in old hickory TN. It is a small local restaurant with lots of good food and Granddaddy is there as well

This place IS Nashville hot chicken!We are from out of town and looking for something small, local, and indicative of Nashville chicken.We tried mild and extra spicy, the fried corn on the cob. All worth our drive to Nashville. Our minds were just blown. The kids loved it. We loved it.And the staff treated us like family.
I've always went to Hattie B's and wanted to try something different. This place was 10 minutes from my location. Called in my order and I felt like family from the first interaction! The lady that waited on me was so friendly. You need to give this place a shot.
