Sam's is a top fav for me in all of Nashville. my fav burger and fries, but everything on their menu is a hit. beautiful atmosphere on the lake, even in the winter!
I went today with my wife and oldest daughter for Father’s Day and really enjoyed it. The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. Thank you!

Sam's Place - Blue Turtle Bay, also known as Sam's Sports Grille, is located on Old Hickory Lake next to the boat docks. It offers great waterside dining with a lovely view from a covered deck. The food is always great, with a full packed bar and an older crowd enjoying conversation. Popular dishes include classic buffalo xxtra crispy all flats, baby back ribs, whole roasted chicken, red beans & rice, mac n cheese, fries, and skillet cookie with ice cream. The blackened Mahi Mahi is enjoyed, and the salad dressing is amazing awesome blue cheese. However, the music can be all metal, which is not very relaxing for some. The restaurant is busy and popular, especially on weekends, with a great marina. Ducks and turtles are fun to watch.
