Sam's is a regular go-to for lunch, happy hour or dinner. The draw is the location on Old Hickory Lake with a view of the marina. The inside dining room, covered patio and closed patio all provide views. Service is generally good, the menu is diverse from salads to full dinners. Try a bushwacker. They have a gluten free menu.Vegetarian options: You can order salads, sweet potato fries, potatoes and there is a veggie burger that's black bean based with sweet potato. It's very good.
Can’t say enough about this restaurant. The bar staff was fun, helpful and friendly. When we were sat at the table our server was hospitable and made the entire dining experience fantastic. Bushwhackers are a must try if you’re here. All of the food we tried was delicious and the views of the river are amazing.
