This place is awesome. Service was great, food was amazing. I had the smashburger. Everything added. It was perfect. DeeDee our server was great. Sweet, funny, and perfectly attentive.
My visit to The Tavern at the Village was a mix of hits and misses. I ordered the catfish, and while it was cooked perfectly with a nice flaky texture, it could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. The flavor was a little too bland, leaving me wanting more punch to make it stand out. I paired it with hush puppies and fries, which were both decent—crispy and warm—but nothing particularly memorable or unique. A little extra kick in the flavors would go a long way. I was...
We had lunch here today for the first time and it will not be our last! Our server Deedee (?) was amazing. So friendly and hilarious! The food was so good and the atmosphere is perfect. Glad to see a great restaurant in town.
