I’m vacationing in General Burnside in Kentucky.. went to the coffee shop all 3 days I was here. Incredible staff, great service and very comfortable scenery. & good coffee!

I've given this place several chances and the coffee kept failing me. 🫤 Coffee tasted burnt and weird in general. Wish I could've loved it because the inside was cute, but the coffee was disappointing.

I got a blended mocha and a blueberry bagel with butter. Staff was friendly and the order was served up promptly. Enjoyed the lounge for a while. Great coffee products and I hear they roast their own coffee.

Seemingly religious themed coffee house. The coffee was fine, the service was fine even though the staff didn't want to make eye contact with us or have any more interactions than necessary. The seating is strange and uninviting.
There is also what I would consider offensive art hanging on the walls about peoples religions and race that feels like it doesn't need to be there
Edit: updating because of business reply. There is antisemitic art on the walls, it's offensive because you are oppressing other people's beliefs below your own. I do believe that in the Christian faith you are supposed to accept people how they are, the snarky reply and the service mixed with the seemingly racist viewpoints on the wall would lead me to believe you don't uphold the values you are preaching.
Also when in the apothecary next door, I understand that it's probably not the same business, the employee was encouraging people to take horse dewormer and talking about vaccines causing autism. This also makes your business look bad.
