I had never tried Peruvian food, but I really enjoyed Aji and the staff is very friendly. Looking forward to trying again.
I had to go back a second time for the delicious Peruvian tamales they were so flavorful and tasted much like home even though I’ve never been to Peru. I loved their house made green sauce with the empanadas and the chicken tamales! I’d highly recommend if you’re in the area visiting. The service is also so friendly and great the family that owns the business are kind!!
Great food and service. took my granddaughter there. had the oxtail dish for lunch which was great. I think they called it repo encendido.
Foods amazing. A bit pricey tho. The wait is so slow there. It use to be so fast. What happened?
Nicest owners and excellent food!!
The food was good. Was it authentic Peruvian food? No, but it was still good (my family is Peruvian so we eat Peruvian food on the daily and are familiar with how the food should taste). We were expecting to see more authentic Peruvian food but there were foods on the menu like pupusas (which are from El Salvador) or rabo encendido (which is Cuban). All in all, I would describe this restaurant as a Latin fusion rather than a Peruvian restaurant.
Just go in and get the Lomo Saltado. You won't be sorry. The best flavor, melts in your mouth. Staff was so kind. What a hidden gem.
I’ve been here several times and tried several dishes. I found one that I loved this last time Salvadoran. Tofu fries and veggies with a tasty sauce. The staff is super friendly.
The food is amazing and authentic. This is probably one of Chattanooga's best places to eat, especially among hidden gems. The staff are really sweet as well.
Really great food and service. Clean and very traditional taste. Definitely worth 👌

Collegedale, TN. I lived in the Miami area for 11 years and have a friend from Peru who loves being Peruvian. She took me to a couple swanky Peruvian restaurants so maybe my standards are too high. More importantly, she cooked for me herself. I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t like the kale quinoa salad I had here. I couldn’t see any quinoa, portion was small, with tip I paid $15+ and the flavor was tart lime. My Peruvian friend is a great cook (papa a la huancaina are her specialty) and she’d have added salt and maybe cilantro to my salad. Well, she’d have told me to get the lomo saltado but I’m on a diet.
So try the meat dishes but weigh your options if you’re thinking about the kale quinoa salad.
Also, dining room is tiny, service is great, there was a little boy behind the counter whose mom was taking orders, working the front tables, and doing the cleanup.

We brought the whole family and it was an awesome experience. It was hard to say what was the best but everything was good. We shared a gallon of Chicha Morada and was very economical drink option. While most of us have enjoyed Peruvian food and drink before, it was new to some and enjoyed by all. Highly recommend the Lomo and pollo saltado and rotisserie chicken. I don't know hoe they keep the chicken so moist. Love the sweet plantains and fried yucca with the "green sauce". So many items to choose from and everything was amazing. Will come back to try the lamb and snapper.

Easily one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is prompt. The hot bar is available for a quick bite. Portions are generous. The Chicharron is a favorite. Outstanding!
