Hard to give 5 stars on fast food Chinese but a solid choice if you are ever in the Collegedale area.

This is a typical average Chinese spot. This isn't the best Chinese I've ever had but it's also not the worst Chinese I've ever had. I had the spicy sesame chicken combo and boneless spare ribs. There was nothing really chewy or fatty about the meat so that was a plus. The chicken wasn't that crispy like I asked for and the sauce was a little off (not bad off). The spare ribs were tasty but a small amount for what you pay for. Overall 3/5. Mid spot. I wouldn't go back though I'd eat it drunk or if nothing else was open.

I grew up coming here. Nothing ever comes close, no matter where else I go. It’s always the first place I go when I’m visiting my hometown. It’s more than just nostalgia, although that is part of it, but it’s also just the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I will be genuinely devastated if this place ever closes. It’s a part of my childhood.

My favorite place for Chinese takeout in the area! Their sesame chicken and spring rolls are the best.

Stirfried not steamed

A Refreshing Find for Flavorful Chinese Food Most of the other Chinese restaurants I’ve tried in the area tend to steam their dishes, which often leaves them lacking that deep, rich flavor. China Kitchen stands out by cooking their food the traditional way—stir-fried to perfection. The result is a crisp, savory depth that’s hard to find elsewhere. A delicious and satisfying experience every time.

This is the best kind of little local place to eat. Food is hot and amazing, lots of options for anyone, been around for what feels like ages. An icon.

Came here back in 2014-2018 for lunches and 7 years later it still is just as delicious as I remember it. Great prices and lunch special deals!

This was our preferred Chinese place but the quality of the food seems to have gone down so we'll be ordering elsewhere. The chicken (general tsos and orange) was dry, chewy, and stringy. The egg rolls seemed under cooked and doughy. The fried rice was incredibly dry and has hardly any veggies. The egg drop wonton soup is more of a thick gloop than soup, with little flavor, but was better after watering down and adding some seasoning. Mongolian Beef was a bit lacking on the beef but was much more edible than the chicken. The restaurant itself doesn't seem super sanitary either. It was a good value when the food was good but not anymore unfortunately.

Food is normally pretty good. Twice now I've ordered for and after watching many other people get their food who ordered later. I had to go up and ask and my food was ready but they had forgotten about it. Both times the food was cold as soon as I made the 5 minute drive home. I'm very disappointed
