Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We had a wonderful server, Joy, for our breakfast April 1st.

Fried okra!!! Coleslaw, Mac and cheese.

Ooltewah, TN- Breakfast stone cold. All of it! Even waitress brought back everything cold again except the sausage. Could have gotten better and cheaper at Hardee’s! Told management the excuse was the entire line is on same switch and if your foot hits it turns everything off. Told her that’s a major issue I would get that fixed so it couldn’t happen. Cold food at a restaurant is not a good idea for food safety! Definitely Do NOT recommend! ☹️

We are regular Cracker Barrel, Ooltewah customers, and we have always enjoyed our meal whether dining in or curbside. This last trip was a disaster. Order was to be ready at 4:33 PM, however, we arrived and notified them that we were there. Other Customers arrived and received their order. We went inside and were told it would be a few minutes. At 5:15 after calling twice going inside twice we finally received our order. When we arrived home, the food was cold and the chicken was so over cooked we could not eat it. We realize that it is hard to find good employees, however, if this is the way it is going to be at Cracker Barrel in Ooltewah, we will go somewhere else.

One start food was mid coffee was cold not hot waiter took forever and people who ordered after us got there gravy was cold and our waiter was terrible.

Ordered curb side mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. Eighty or so bucks worth as we were staying at an Airbnb and didn’t want to cook this side dish. The small pans of potatoes were 1/3 full. Super disappointing . Potatoes were good but terrible portions for the cost. I was embarrassed to pay what we did for what we received. Gravy was salty swill. Would not recommend.
