When family get togather... What a time, what a time! Davis Wayne’s never misses. The food, the cocktails, the atmosphere—everything comes together in the best way. The lamb chops were tender and full of flavor, the veggie plate was seasoned perfectly, and that Big Payback cocktail was on point. (x 3) We finished the night with pecan pie, apple pie, and a hot cup of coffee, and they even surprised me with chocolate-dipped strawberries. Every bite was amazing.
The staff made us feel right at home, and the live music added something special to the evening. It’s a Black-owned gem that deserves every bit of love it gets. Every time I come home, this will be one of my first stops. Highly recommend!

It was my husband’s and I first time here and it was absolutely amazing. Such a friendly, warm, welcoming atmosphere and staff. The food was incredible. Stayed for the live music as well and we had the best time. Perfect for a date night and family friendly as well. 10/10 we will be returning.

From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and upscale elegance — cozy lighting, beautiful décor, and the soulful sounds of live music setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was packed with flavor and soul — you can taste the care and tradition in every bite. The Parmesan Chicken was crispy perfection, the mac and cheese creamy and rich, and the collard greens seasoned just right. It’s true comfort food elevated to a whole new level.
The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — you can tell the staff really take pride in what they do. Between the great music, delicious food, and inviting vibe, this restaurant nails the art of soul food dining. We'll definitely be coming back.

This evening I experienced Davis Wayne’s for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and the atmosphere. I ordered the lamb chops with my choice of potatoes with onions and mixed greens. The food was perfectly seasoned, no need to add anything extra. The staff was exceptional and the live entertainment was an add bonus. If you get the opportunity to visit this established you WILL NOT be disappointed. I will definitely put this on my list for return visits.

I felt like i was back on the farm with my mamaws cooking. Truly great and flavorful food.
If I could give 10 stars I would! We have a party of 12 my mother's 75th bday! We get there & seated...the power went out! The entire block (transformer issue) the amazing server (James) says we got this if yall are patient! We have mini table lamps and the open the large windows! Have our drinks...and then the food starts coming out! Not only piping hot but also amazing!! We fellowshiped and ate great food! Job well done!!! You have a life time supported and customer!! Thank you for making my mother's day special!!

He really set the tone for our experience we loved him! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by smiles and a overflow of hospitality. I have never experienced such a genuine level of customer service in all of Chattanooga until I visited this place. I would recommend anyone here. The food, customer service, and ambiance is an absolute 10/10.
