I love supporting local restaurants, so when my friends and I decided to get brunch, this place sounded great. The girl with black curly hair and tattoos does NOT need to be a server. I’ve worked in the service industry before so I know how it is, but she made us afraid to even ask for anything with her rudeness. She also tried to add gratuity since we had 5 people and a baby, however, gratuity is usually added for 6 or more. I think she deliberately counted our baby as a 6th person to get an automatic tip and then treat us however she liked. Definitely disappointing.

We had a really disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was poor. The waitress never introduced herself, barely spoke to us, and seemed to have an attitude the whole time. She threw down our waters and didn’t check on us again. When it came time to pay, she added gratuity to the check even though one member of our party was a baby and shouldn’t have been counted. She didn’t ask if we wanted to-go boxes either, and the whole interaction felt rushed and unfriendly.
To make matters worse, we didn’t have a reservation but were told the wait would be 15 minutes we ended up waiting an hour. Meanwhile, other guests who arrived after us were seated and served first. The hostess did apologize, but overall this experience was frustrating and disappointing. Our server had black curly hair and a tattoo on the back of her neck, in case management wants to follow up.
To top it off, we were seated right next to a window filled with dead flies super unappetizing and clearly not well maintained.

I don’t usually complain guys, I’m a very lenient person but I have to do this. This establishment while looking good on the outside, is not the same inside. We unfortunately didn’t get the servers name because she NEVER introduced herself. She had curly black hair, tattoo on upper back of neck. She had had an attitude the entire time, very short and abrupt with her interactions toward us, never asked if we wanted to go boxes, overall not a good experience. I wasn’t going to complain about the wait, but I will add we were told it would be a 15 minute wait, it was an hour. The young lady did apologize and we appreciated it. Overall, shaking my head.

Decent food, they did a great job with the hollandaise on the eggs Benedict, service was also decent Hailey was very sweet and definitely a highlight of this morning made us feel super welcome and was very attentive would come again for breakfast. I read the reviews while sitting at the table with my friend but we had the best service! Danielle felt like family, and the hostess had a cast on her arm but you couldn't tell. Both were so very attentive and always moving, making sure we wanted for nothing. The lavender coffee was delicious! My friend has the brisket skillet and they were not stingy, she had to take the rest home. I have the omelette and had to do the same. They give great portion sizes and the presentation is very satisfying. The cranberry/pineapple mimosas are good but on your way out the door try the lavender coffee with almond milk (vanilla) when you go, it's a whole vibe! My friend said the salted caramel coffee was good too☝🏽.

When we were being seated at 9:45 am, the hostess made a point of mentioning that our table was reserved for 11:30. In other words, hurry up and eat because others need your table? The place was half empty. However, our server, Hailey, was absolutely fabulous! The Green Fried Tomatoes were delicious as well as my daughter's Apple Pie French Toast. Too bad that the brisket in my Brisket Skillet was dry and very fatty.
They were out of almost half the menu, no chicken, no apple juice, no chocolate milk, no mocha mix. Then thirty minutes after ordering, they told us they ran out of coffee cake the day before.

My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant for brunch, opting for takeout instead of dine-in. When I called to place our order, the lady who answered was exceptionally sweet and polite, which I appreciated, especially since I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first.
The food portions were generous—big enough to share with someone and still feel satisfied. I ordered the chicken and waffles, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The chicken, while very crunchy, lacked seasoning, leaving it underwhelming. As for the waffles, they had an odd flavor that resembled hush puppies, which made me feel quite sick. Both my husband and I suspected they might have used cornmeal in the batter, as it definitely didn’t taste like a traditional buttermilk waffle. Perhaps there was a mix-up with the batters in the kitchen.
Overall, my experience was just okay. While I personally wouldn’t return, I recognize that others might enjoy it here—it just wasn’t the right fit for me.
