Currently limited alcohol due to NC distributor issues. They did have champagne. I'd recommend removing the advertising cards from the table until distributor issues are resolved. We weren't terribly impressed with the sandwiches. However, if you're looking for dessert spot, this might be your place.

Fun places to visit. The best malt I've ever had and I've been to several different places just to try their malts!

First off, No Television!! I was so glad that I was in an establishment that didn't have a news or sports channel running.
It's a really lovely building that has an old train station vibe.
The menu is classic, but renamed and a little updated. I had the jailhouse rock sandwich (roast beef au jous) with horseradish. The options were horseradish, mayo or mustard. I also enjoyed a side of tomato bisque that was absolutely perfect.
For dessert I got a very good chocolate malt. The ice cream shakes and malts are shareable.
The service was outstanding.
The tables had trivia cards to play. What a great way to get people to unplug from their phones and engage with their companions.
The only issue is the parking. It's awkward. They do have a gravel lot next to it. And there is some additional parking about a block away, but frankly, I wouldn't walk that road for love or money.
Kid-friendliness: There is a kids section on the menu.

Friendly, professional, and yummy food. Milkshakes are amazing!
Vegetarian options: I didn’t read the whole menu, but the salad was really good and options to get without meat.
Kid-friendliness: They were mindful of my grandkids and were kind.

We dropped in for a bite on a Monday afternoon. We ordered sandwiches and a few shakes.
The shakes are pretty decent, but WAYYYY over the top. The frosting used in the shakes to glue everything together was insanely sweet, nearly to the point of being inedible. Do yourself a favor and order a 'normal' milkshake - you will save yourself money this way. As it was, the bill for a family of 4 was over $100.
Our sandwiches were just average on the whole. The dining area lacks ANY sound deadening, and despite just a few tables being occupied, it was excessively loud inside. I would personally request upstairs (2nd level seating) next time.
The atmosphere and 'extras' upstairs are neat.

One of a kind eatery with great service and even better food. My salad was delicious and made very well. The staff was small but everyone worked together to provide a great experience. You could see the trains go through from a side window. Would definitely stop here again when in town.

First, plan was to come here for the desserts to celebrate my daughter’s birthday— which were a hit with our girls (rainbow and cotton candy versions).
Actual food— I would recommend eating elsewhere. Food took quite a while. Kids got chicken nuggets which came out quite ‘blonde’— questionable— though seemed cooked through… but odd. I had the Nashville Hot sandwich and it was just okay… same with the roast beef sub.
Come for the dessert—- it’s definitely the star ? for this place.
What a neat place to dine!!
