Review from 3 years ago This place has gone downhill the past year. It is a hit or miss every time I come by, either the donuts are great or they are all extremely raw and doughy on the inside. I've tried to address this with the shop very politely by phone and in person, didn't even ask for anything free just wanted to bring to their attention that they are selling raw donuts. Whoever is making these donuts is never consistent and sometimes makes them too fat and the whole inside is raw and gross. Please address this to keep customers happy and returning for your yummy donuts, no one should have to drive out of there way excited to then go home and bite into raw donuts. Very disappointing because I love this shop.
Updated review as of my visit on 1/3/2026. I used to love this place and always bought the Bavarian eclair donuts. I purchased 6 donuts yesterday around 1pm and my husband and I ate two of them, then later that night went to eat another one and they were disgusting and wet and the filling tasted tangy. For the almost $19 I paid for the 6 donuts, we threw away 4 of them the same day. This is unacceptable because in the past they would stay fresh for another 1-2 days. Not sure what is going on with Tasty Donuts between the price increases and quality of the donuts, but I will not be coming back.

Donuts purchased 1/3/26 6 donuts for $19 is outrageous Plus the taste of them has changed. We got glazed donuts with frosting filling and they taste terrible. The frosting in the middle is so thick and sugary now. It is to be light and fluffy. I use to always get these and they taste terrible now. Plus after one day in the box, the few left are soggy and slimmy. I think I'll go elsewhere. I'm not going to continue to pay almost $20 for 6 sub par donuts. Pricing donuts this high will result in no tips either. I would honestly like a refund as we threw away some of the donuts.

Tasty Donuts has an amazing selection of donuts and other confections. Everything I've ever tried has been wonderful. That being said, I recently paid about $16 for a half dozen of their creations.

Date of visit 10-26-2025 Note to owner: Your Sundays hours stated 7am- Sellout. Well you are will be 'soldout' when the two girls working Sunday throws them all away. They were trashing donuts at 5:30pm.
It doesn't take much to ruin an experience and a product when your employee are young and lacking customer service to be left alone. The two young women working on the 10-26 between 5pm-7pm were stale and didn't respond to anything we asked about the donuts, the blonde girl up front just stood there staring. The second girl would come from the back and started pulling donuts and holes from the shelves. We were trying to order as fast as we could but they were pulling the donuts faster.
We got a few donuts and the blonde girl with her hair up started closing the box before we were done. We took it as a sign that your donut shop wasn't interested in business.
10/10 best donuts, but I have to explain a little bit more about our 5 star experience that made this place my new favorite donut spot.
My wife and I just got married in Chattanooga. We are Florida residents. Up until about a month before the wedding Oct. 4th we were going to get Duck Donuts for the wedding as my wife liked that spot and they had told us “just order about a month prior”. Well, we hadn’t obviously checked in to see that they closed their Chattanooga location in July.
WHAT A BLESSING IN DISGUISE.
When scrambling to find another option, we stumbled on Tasty Donuts and I cannot be more happy that we did. Not only did Tony personally text me to arrange everything from the flavors we wanted and making sure we had a few gluten free donuts, but they were able to help us on short notice to do so and we could not be more thankful. It was all boxed and wrapped ready to go the morning of the wedding.
On top of that, we didn’t tell our guests where we were getting donuts from till they were at the wedding and we had a few guests the morning of, visit Tasty Donuts and rant and rave about it all morning before the wedding. When we told them it was our dessert option they were so excited to have them even a second time that day.
All the flavors we had got the best reviews from our guests. The donut wall was half empty before myself and the bride were able to get ours simply because people were already having multiple! I am forever grateful for Tony and his wonderful team over at Tasty Donuts.
I will now never go to Chattanooga without making a stop at one of the shops there, they’ve earned a fan for life. I work for IRONMAN who makes two stops to Chattanooga a year and will for sure be sharing this with all my coworkers for the next time I and the staff roll through town.
