I had the byob Benny which is create your own eggs Benedict this was the best eggs Benedict I have ever had and I am a snob when it comes to that as it is my favorite breakfast 😋 I also had there homemade peach jam 😋 my boyfriend had the country breakfast all so amazing and fresh. Our waitress was amazing 👏 I think she might have been a owner as she stated that she made the peach jam!! Anywhere she was fabulous!! I give this place a 10 out of 10 will definitely be back and did i mention they have morning cocktails like bloody Mary's and mimosas!!

Great local spot. $3 draft beers (craft) during happy hour and half off smash burgers.

This place is a solid try. Service can be hit or miss. Food is spot on and probably one of the best burgers you can get around town. The fried cauliflower is an excellent surprise.

Yesterday, i went in during 4-ish before my shift to buy brisket nachos and i forgot my wallet and the owner was kind and helped me out.i was super appreciative of that. In the past ive went and its been very relaxed and the front of house provides great service. Highly recommend this place and the menu is great and the staff makes it even better

Too Slow

If you like heavy, southern cooking, this could be your place. However, if you enjoy vegetables and clean eating, everything is sweet and goopy with fat. Even the burger was with sweet, extra fatty cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, but super sweet BBQ sauce. The eggs had jam and some goat cheese or something that tasted like butter, and the pasta was in such a heavy cream sauce, it could barely be eaten, and it destroyed the veggies, which were sweet and soggy. It has been two hours, and my gut is still bending. Where is clean, healthy eating around here? Wrong person, wrong place. Never again, unless just for a drink.

Wine Down is a solid neighborhood restaurant. They’ve established themselves and present a fairly consistent experience and food product.
If I was to nitpick, it would be temperature and service. It’s always too warm in the restaurant. I see other reviews referencing the same thing. Is this not an easy fix?!
And service needs to be improved. The waitresses are not trained to deliver that extra “oomph” that Wine Down is striving for. They don’t need much, it’s not Malones after all, but it’s also not Chilis
.something in between.

First time eating at this establishment and everyone in my party enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The one thing that ruined our time there was, we had a reservation for 10:30am and were told that we had to be done by 12pm for the next reservation. That is not how you get return customers. You put a time limit on when you are sitting and eating with family or friends.

3 strikes and we are done! Food is awesome and good deals on drinks for happy hour. Happy hour food not really a deal deviled eggs more expensive than full portion for what u get. Every time we go it feels like 80 degrees inside, water is warm and we always have to repeatedly ask for ice. Servers are the worst of any restaurant we have frequented in ooltewah or around Hamilton place. They move slow, rarely smile and very fake. They seem to have some regulars were the linger at certain tables and no matter how long you stare they just walk past your table. I have to waive them down or go to the bat to ask for help. They say they work in teams but they end up showing up one right after the other then abandon you for 20 minutes. No manager or owner making rounds to check in. The food and price point must be keeping them alive. Major training opportunities here and a few of the slugs should be fired. Sweet water girl should be promoted to server and the teen hostess with the dirty looking jeans and baggy tshirt should b in the back washing dishes. Clean it up or this place will not survive!

Great brunch spot! I'm sure they are good for any meal but I've only tried the brunch

Cute place, nice atmosphere. Coffee drinks are a bit pricey.

Love the breakfast, happy hour and dinner here. Staff were great. Going to take the wife there for Mother’s Day.

Service and menu are incoherent. We'd routinely get 3+ servers over the course of a meal. They'd never know what drinks were available that night, and availability was constantly fluctuating. They would frequently disappear for 10+ minutes when asked to inquire about availability. The old WDO burger on half price burger night was good enough that I could excuse it, but they've moved it off of the half price menu. I now see this restaurant as irredeemable. On our most recent visit after the menu change our first waitress failed to communicate that to us, and I was sorely disappointed with the burger I was brought

Let's start with the atmosphere. This restaurant was simply immaculate. Was created immediately upon entering, and was seated in a cozy but out in the open spot. The server was really helpful and a delight, although I think it was either her first day or she was new. She had help which was fine, because she had it covered. Now let talk about the delectability; if I can create words, that was the food. First off, those BISCUITS were so soft and airy, yet had a subtle crispy crunch on the outside. I could have eaten a bakers dozen I'm sure. The French Toast was so comforting and so were the grits. It was cold outside and those two really hit a spot. The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the omelet coupled with the grits, were, ummm... yeah. Might I say heavenly. Simply amazing. If and when I'm in the area again, I would absolutely love to try other things on the menu. Although it would be hard not to order BISCUITS.
