The rating is based on paying for a gift card online almost 3 weeks ago. Owner said it went to a spam folder a week ago, but no additional email or phone response to MANY attempts. Tried to send this to a friend anonymously but had to ask if they received after not getting any tracking info. The food was good when I ate there, but don’t order gift cards online, they seem to go into a black hole I am left disputing charges.

They have the best burger in Ooltewah and either 1st or 2nd in Southeast Tennessee. Try the Wagu burger with truffle fries. You won't be disappointed. IMO, the meat is high enough quality to eat medium rare. It's hard to beat this burger. The aioli sauce makes the truffle fries. The location is pleasant in the square. There are often fun events going on during the weekends in the square. Regardless, it's a nice development and fun atmosphere. All the food I've ever had at Wine Down is good. You won't go wrong with their menu. Give it a try.

Very consistent each time, delicious food, Happy hour is great to try a variety of items on the menu, pork belly bites, Japanese style cauliflower, truffle fries, I love the option to select wings by quantity.....need I say more. Yes, I am totally impressed, fried green tomatoes. Just a variety of options and portions will lead you to needing a box to go. Cocktails of the day are usually on point and not ashamed of the price point. Waiting to try the Ooltewah fried frog legs and other items on the menu....no doub, lots of choice and service are delightful and quick with it.It's onee of my fav, and I trust me i have been a lot of places. Kacey and Mabry deserve applause, are very attentive, and provide great service.
While the Wagyu burger was delicious, I would have liked some vegetable, such as lettuce, tomato, etc. accompanying the burger. Very skimpy on the alcohol. My Manhattan was barely a third of a drink glass though it tasted good. Service was excellent.Kid-friendliness: Kids were well catered to.
