Nice and clean. Our waitress was very sweet and kept us taken care of. Portions of food were good. Fish was how I like it. Crispy, thick cornmeal breading with flaky, meaty fish inside. Only reason I give 4 stars is the pricing is a little too steep for us. $18 for fried shrimp that I got. Other than pricing we enjoyed.
We stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, and my wife had catfish. The young lady brought out hush puppies to start. Those were really good. Next came our food. My sandwich was huge and I really enjoyed it. My wife loved her catfish. Prices are reasonable and good portion sizes. We will be back again.
If you’re of a certain age you might remember Knotts Landing located downtown many years ago. It was my grandmother’s favorite restaurant and the only place she would get catfish. My grandmother would love the new version just as much. My wife and I ate dinner there for the first time. We each got the filets. They’re LARGE!! I got the 6 piece, my wife got the 4 piece. Fried to perfection. Not greasy at all. Good sides and the sidewinder potatoes are a good version of fries....
