First time visitor on 7/19/25, party of 8. Food and service were top notch. The black & blue steak salad and the fillet were excellent. We will definitely try on future trips.
Fine and Delicious. Ĝood Ribeyes
My husband and I visited from Louisiana this past Thursday. We got the spicy crab dip as an appetizer. It was absolutely amazing. My husband got the prime rib and I got the T-bone. Our meat was cooked to perfection, and the side dishes were very good as well. 10/10 recommend this restaurant.
This could have been a wonderful meal, it was still good but its disappointing not getting what you order. let me state our server was very good, the steak was good but wayyyyyyyy overcooked. we ordered 2 medium rare and both came well done and my wife's was very tough. everything else was good.
Nice atmosphere and good food. Gets crowded during the season so call ahead. Good fresh salad and great steaks.

I've eaten at the Alamo at least 10 times and unfortunately last week was the poorest food quality. A filet mignon should be buttery smooth cut of meat however the cuts that were served to me and my wife looked like thawed frozen steaks. I had a better steak at Texas Roadhouse which should not happen. The Alamo potato tasted as if they were under a heating lamp most the day. Best part of the meal was the wedge salad.

We visited this restaurant with friends. One of those friends has a meat allergy. She is always able to find something to eat anywhere we go. Before we chose to put our name on the waitlist she checked the menu and saw a grilled cheese on the kids menu. Usually, once she explains she has extensive allergies, restaurants allow her to order within her needs. She explained her allergies to our waiter and he said that he could not make an exception, so we asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over and said she would not make an exception and instead offered to have the kitchen “make chicken in tin foil” or “chicken strips”. All of us were dumbfounded and had to re explain that she was allergic to meat. Chicken is a meat. After this she offered to make her a side of broccoli! What a joke!!! So my friend did not eat. We waited over 2 hours to eat so she told us to go ahead and eat and we could pick her something up from somewhere else. The steaks were very mediocre. Without the experience we had we would not be back. There are definitely better places to eat.

Service was excellent hands down! 45 minute wait because lack of staff not a problem table of 8 today others ordered the 20 oz and it turned out beautiful medium rare!! I unfortunately ordered the T-bone steak 16 ounce😢 my sides were the broccoli and Brussels sprouts my steak was ordered medium rare I got a medium well cooked steak and the filet was non existent on it for a $34 entree hesitant I sent it back and within a five minute time I was presented another T-bone that was cold and rare so I was scared but asked politely to have it fired just a touch longer it fired alright for twice as long and got a well done over salted steak I kept my mouth shut and ate what what I could
I really hate leaving a bad review on a place that I’ve been looking forward to eating at for months now, but I really did have an overall bad experience. I was trying to relive my birthday dreams and it was just not that great. I’m sorry Alamo I will give you one more try.!

Honestly, not good.
Quick and dirty: more than 50% of our party (5+) either threw up or had diarrhea after eating here. Steaks came out terribly overcooked/undercooked even after more than one attempt and had a texture like they had been freezer-burnt-frozen and unfrozen multiple times before being served.
Considering the price, $25-$50 or more per plate, to say we were disappointed is an extreme understatement. Like “The Alamo” in Tennessee, quality was far from where it should be.

This was our first time visiting Alamo Steakhouse in Pigeon Forge.
Our server was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He answered our questions without hesitation.
I had "The Steak" - 20oz Bone In Ribeye along with a cup of the Crab Bisque. My wife had the Filet.
We both enjoyed our Mountain Wild Berry drinks. They were delicious.
Both of our steaks were very tender and flavorful. Our server asked if we needed any A1 or Heinz 57. I opted for the Heinz 57 before tasting my steak.
After tasting my steak, I didn't open the Heinz 57. There was so much flavor, I'm sure the surrounding guests got tired of me remarking how good the steak was. 😂
Alamo Steakhouse is a "must visit" if you are in the area. You only live once, visit as many times as you can.
Highly Rated 🤌

Excellent food and service. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We shared the shrimp, scallops and potato skins from the appetizers menu. They were all cooked perfectly! Definitely would recommend

I should have ordered steak because seeing them go by I knew I wouldn't be happy. Where we were seated wasn't great it didn't start out right. I would go back but was excited about my first visit.

The steak was not good. Steak was cooked in some sweet sauce which I was not a fan of. The baked potato was actually amazing & I highly recommend!! Potato soup, don’t get it, it was terrible. Rolls were alright. Salad was good.

Our recent Thanksgiving visit to Alamo Steakhouse in Pigeon Forge was disappointing due to several issues:
Inaccurate Wait Time Information
We called at 4:00 PM and spoke with Eva, inquiring about reservations and anticipated wait times. She informed us that while reservations weren’t accepted, waits exceeding an hour typically began around 6:00 PM. However, upon our arrival at 4:45 PM, we were told to expect a 90-minute wait. This discrepancy between the provided information and reality was frustrating.
Unaccommodating Response to Special Needs
Given that we have a special needs child who cannot wait in the parking lot for extended periods, we asked the host about the timeframe to return once notified. His response was curt, stating we had only a couple of minutes to arrive after being texted, or the table would be given away. He added that upon arrival, we’d be placed at the top of the list but would still have to wait. His demeanor was unhelpful and dismissive, lacking understanding of our situation.
Communication Failures
After leaving our number and returning within an hour, we checked in and were told there were about 30 minutes remaining. Forty minutes later, having received no text, we inquired again and were told a message had been sent, though we hadn’t received it. Verification showed our number was correct, indicating a system error.
Seating and Service Challenges
Once seated, our party was placed at a booth that couldn’t accommodate us all, forcing one member to sit on a hard chair. Upon request, our server, Rebekah, moved us to a suitable booth. She appeared overworked, managing multiple complaints, including issues with steak quality that required managerial attention. While our food arrived promptly, drink refills were lacking, though we don’t fault Rebekah, given her workload.
Overall Experience
This was our third consecutive Thanksgiving at Alamo Steakhouse, but had it been our first, we wouldn’t consider returning. What should have been a seating time of no later than 6:15 PM, due to the establishment’s errors, resulted in us not being seated and ordering until 7:15 PM.
In summary, the combination of inaccurate information, unaccommodating staff, communication failures, and service challenges made this visit notably subpar compared to our previous experiences.
