Ordered a 40 year anniversary cake to surprise my parents while we were on vacation. First time trying the bakery. She NAILED it. Ordered a 6" on 8" almond cake and icing. My mom had been searching forever to find a cake the could compare to a different local bakery (closed). We talked several times via msg and phine.Incredibly friendly, amazing talent, and the place to order from near Pigeon Forge Sevierville. After an 8hr drive for vacation and not knowing what we'd get, ?????! Also tried mini cupcakes-iced with your choice on the spot. Sp many options.

Delicious! Great service. We stopped in while we were waiting for the rest of our family do the Alpine Coaster. Yummy treat, shade, and a table to eat at.

BEST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TO! Best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted buttercream and all frostings are to die for ! Prices are outstanding! Should be famous I’m not sure how this is not a known place yet this needs to go viral!

I decided to try this place based on seeing the work on social media and thought that it looked like a reliable bakery for my elopement. I wanted a wildflower cake, I bought $30 dollar edible flowers on Etsy, informed the owner I bought them and was sending the flowers out to be an addition to my cake. I also sent a screenshot of the exact flowers that I ordered on Etsy. When i arrived the day before my wedding the cake had none of the flowers I bought. As the worker boxed the cake I had to add that I was missing the flowers I had sent. The worker called the owner and said she never received them- I checked the tracking they were delivered in the mailbox on 4/24. So overall super disappointed, I feel like there should have been more communication before pick up.

Picked up some cupcakes for a family reunion while in area and they were amazing. The staff was wonderful and helpful, great place for some homemade sweets.

This place was great. Cupcake made to order, first time I've been to a place like this. Very friendly and a good cupcake.

Shannon is amazing!! I ordered 2 cakes for my daughter’s first birthday, to be picked up while in town on vacation. The service was impeccable and the cakes…. Mmhm .. were delectable!!Added bonus- the chocolate bear cake pops are adorable and delicious ?I can not speak highly enough about this business!!

I really wanted to like the 6 jumbo red velvet cupcakes I bought. Unfortunately they were really dry and tasteless. Had to toss 4/6. Tasted like they were absent if any real butter or eggs. The owner has been in business a long time, is very nice and willing to help meet your needs. So maybe it’s a one time fail. This was a busy weekend so perhaps my cupcakes were stale, then frozen, thawed before frosting. Who knows. Just glad I did not plan to serve them to guest.

HIGHLY recommend this place! I'm from SC and we found Shannon's place when we were planning our Gatlinburg wedding and looking for local bakeries for our wedding cake. We tasted a sample of her mini cupcakes and fell in LOVE with the variety of flavors. We did an assortment of mini cupcakes and a smaller regular cake that we used when we cut the cake. The cake was DELICIOUS. So moist. Flavors were SO good. I can't recommend her enough and we will definitely stop by for a treat on our annual visits to Gatlinburg!!

We have been visiting the area almost every year for almost 20 years. I can't remember when we first stopped by the Bakin' Bishop for a cupcake, but we've been coming ever since at least once and usually twice for her delicious cupcakes. We like trying different cake and frosting flavor combinations.

I planned this cake over the phone since we were traveling 9 hours for my daughters wedding and it was amazing!! It tasted so fabulous and was exactly what we wanted!! I highly recommend working with Shannon!!

We used Bakin Bishop for our wedding cake and to be completely honest it was the best part of the reception! Our guest absolutely loved it! We especially love the house made buttercream, Highly recommend!

Shannon was super sweet! The wedding cake she made me was beautiful and she listened to what I wanted. It was ready on time, very affordable for my budget, and tasted great!

Wow! These cupcakes are amazing! I love that you can mix and match the icing and cake. I got a traditional red velvet and it tasted amazing. My hubby got a cinnamon roll, and it was incredible: a perfect balance between cinnamon and pastry. The baker/decorator was super friendly and patient. We also got two cake pops for the road and they are adorable!
