I felt a little uncomfortable in the store. Me and my wife bought a lot of items. There was a nerdy guy with a earbud just literally following me around watching like I wasn't attentive enough to notice that he was basically looking at everything.I was in.I guess he was security. I wanted to say something to him that my wife told me to just let it go it wasn't worth it, we are a biracial couple of 27 years.And as much as we've came to Tennessee, we've never experienced it like that.It was to the point that every time I picked up anything, he would take it out of my hands and say, oh I will take it.And put it behind the counter for you.There was a lady right behind me with a light up Christmas tree. That was almost as big as she was. He made no effort to even ask if anyone else need help. He just continued to follow me around. Myself and my wife are on both very successful we bought about three hundred dollars worth of items, from snow glow pianos to snow glow, crowns and all kind of stuff and money.Isn't an issue?But when you go and get profiled and get singled out it lets you know that some people still view you in a negative light its very disheartening. Especially if you want to put yourself in the stereotype that he was expecting. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm an old Marine vet and I came very close so in hindsight we will probably will never go to that Craker Barrel restaurant in Pigeon and forge again.

We just stopped for the gift shop this time, to find gifts for friends.

We decided to have an early dinner and Cracker Barrel was just across the road from our hotel so why not! Usually I have a comfort meal like meat loaf or chicken when I go to Cracker Barrel so decided to try something different so I tried the fried catfish dinner. It was so delicious. And a nice heaping portion. Good wait service ended up being a great experience. Cracker Barrel comes through again.

Went all five days we visited, for breakfast, every server was very pleasant, some faster than others lol, food was great, coffee was wonderful, fire was amazing, the only complaint was, Even though they were never that busy, I mean they weren't packed, I felt like they were trying to move me along, like servve him, send him, I did not over stay my welcome by any means, but once I got my bill, it was like, time to go, other then that, love the place, hang on, there's still people who enjoy Cracker barrel!

On our way to see a friend whom just got home from a hospital stay my husband and I went into Cracker Barrel to order takeout. We learned that when it’s busy you can only order online for takeout. We asked if we could place an order anyway so the staff got Jeremy, the Manager, who was happy to assist us. It’s the Sunday rush for lunch so we did have to wait but we shopped and at least 3 employees would check on us and the status of our order, they were all so nice and friendly and apologetic for the order taking so long. However it was worth the wait, our friend loved the meal as we also did. Thanks to all the staff and Jeremy for their hospitality , I would give you 10 stars if I could. Laurie
