Booked last minute and loved the theme and vibe. Clean, comfortable beds with a working ac. It's right on the strip so you do get some noise but it's expected and very minimal. I also loved that it is wheelchair/handicap accessible. The room we were on was a different floor and you got up to it by going up a ramp. I thought that was neat. The pool looked inviting and I loved the lounge chairs, I'll have to bring my swim suit next time. The free pancake breakfast was also nice. Hoping to stay here again later this year. I will say the hill makes me anxious but it's worth it.
We enjoyed our stay. Jared, who was working the front desk, was extremely friendly and helpful; Wild Bear Inn should give him a raise. My wife suggested giving home 6 or 7 stars, but that option is not available.
Danielle did a great job!
The room was smaller than anticipated, but very clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Pancake breakfast was amazing!
Absolute disaster
Started off finding out that half of the menu is not available, half the beers on tap, also not available. Annoying, but it happens.
We ordered a flat bread and a couple of dishes. The flat bread came after the check!!! 25 minutes after the rest of the food.
We were given 3 sets of silverware for 5 people. And it took 20 minutes to bring the next 2.
They not only did not offer to comp anything, they declined when we asked.
And acted like we were the crazy ones to be annoyed about our dishes coming 40 minutes apart.
Do not recommend
Food was mediocre.

Tracy was great at check in getting me a great rate. Room was comfortable and clean. Everything I needed!
The food at the tavern. Delicious 😋
Man what a wild ride. I’m no stranger to low budget affairs. All I expect is that they keep things clean. I can even deal with mustiness to a degree. So my expectations were low to begin with. The first room had a dead cockroach in it. I was immediately moved. The second room had a broken door lock and handle, was carpeted and it had dead bugs on it, and there was hair everywhere. The tub didn’t appear clean. The third room appears much cleaner, and is not carpeted which helps with the smell but there’s still a noticeable mustiness. There were spiders in the tub so it was clearly not cleaned recently and we used our sandals when showering. This is probably the least well maintained and most dirty establishment I’ve ever stayed in. Despite their apologies and willingness to move me three times, I couldn’t give this a recommendation. The staff seem to be working hard and maintenance arrived quickly for the door issue. But you don’t even get what you pay for here which is a shame. Location is great right on the parkway and near the entrance to the national park.
Ordered the pizza, honestly made us sick and very expensive for bad food. The pizza crust was gray and the guacamole was just a slightly mashed avocado. The salsa was just a can of Rotel tomato, nothing different.

The Fox Den is located inside The Black Fox Lodge. A quaint place with comfortable seating in several options. A fire pit inside and out is a nice touch. We had a Buffalo chicken pizza and the Caprese Napoleon. Both delicious. The Barkeep Vera was pleasant professional and prompt.

Decent hotel restaurant. Prices were reasonable, and the service was good. The pizza is a thin crust Pizza that is crispy but not hard, it was just right. The sauce and toppings were good buy they just need to put more on the pie. Chicken wings were good as well. The ranch dressing however, stole the show. It's probably one of the best ranch dressings I have had in some time.

First I thought the people with bad reviews are exaggerating. But after the order I understood why they had bad reviews. First of all the pulled pork sandwich was good. No bad review for that. We also ordered pepperoni pizza, what had no flavor at all in the sauce, and the pizza dough was awful. The service was bad. After 2 times asking for diet Coke, we still didn't get it. The person shouldn't be a server. Asking for to go boxes, after 5 minutes still didn't receive it, so we just paid and left everything there. Honestly wasn't worth to take it home.

Live music, great food. Service was a little rough as they don't have many employees.
