Great little place to get breakfast, love the Christian music and decorations, we will be returning!!! 100% recommend fitting this place into your trip!

When we go out of town, my husband and I always make it a point to visit restaurants and eateries where locals eat. We found this gem of a cafe in Pigeon Forge. Mr. Lenny greeted us as we entered his establishment. The server and cook also greeted us, and all were pleasant, courteous and friendly. My husband had French toast, our son had a chocolate chip pancake, and I had a bagel sandwich with bacon, egg and cheese. They were all delicious! We'll definitely come back next time we visit the Smokies. God Bless!

Please be aware - do not waste your time if you have a party larger than 4, you will be turned away! We were very rudely turned away because we had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 children). Mind you, there was only one other table and they were getting up to leave. We were also willing to sit at 2 different tables or even eat outside at the picnic tables. Please update your website and social media to clearly state you only serve parties of 2-4 so your time and future customer's time is not wasted.

This place is doing EVERYTHING right. Energy, atmosphere, Food, USB charging stations at the table, viewing for kids on the TV..EVERYTHING! Please come visit Lenny and his great staff at Lil Black Bear Cafe. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. (I like my bacon well done, it's not burnt, it's PERFECT for me)

Had a quick breakfast here today. Awesome little spot. Limited tables but the food was awesome. Some of the best biscuits and gravy that I’ve ever had. Pancakes were great too.

Today 11/13/2024 at approximately 11am we had shockingly pitiful experience, TRULY PITIFUL. We planned out to eat at this place days before and were so excited to eat here. We are so disappointed that this disaster of a place behaves as it does. We were a family of 6 with 2 children, 2 adults and 2 seniors and we came here to celebrate my father in law for his birthday as well as celebrating him as a WAR VETERAN THE DAY AFTER VETERANS DAY. The day we showed up they told us that they unfortunately could not take care of us. His exact words were “we could not take care of you because we close in 2 hours and it’s too many people. I recommend you go to MELS DINER where they can take care of a bigger family”.

MIND YOU, they had a total of 8 tables with 4 empty tables at that time. We then went to the sunline diner where we gladly enjoyed our food.

TO THE OWNERS,
How can you allow this. How can you allow your employee to turn back families because they only want to cater to 1-2 people at a time. Additionally, with 2 hours to go, your employee couldn’t just use their imagination and pretend they were taking care of 3 individual couples (total of 6 people) which they would have gladly done instead. The logic of it all is just absurd. If this is what you want in your establishment, i wish you an easy transition after going out of business. You don’t turn away money, you FIGURE OUT a way to make it work. If it was a Party of 12 or more, maybe I can understand due to the size of the place which is the size of a storage space, but a party of 6 in a tourist location?? This is simply PURE LAZINESS, lack of customer service and a non existing desire to serve - and then they send us to another establishment.

If this is a couples spot rather than breakfast spot, you need to change your business name to “I only serve couples at the most”.

WE’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN OUR LIFE.

Would not let me leave 0 stars so I had to do 1! Walked in at 12:30. There were 6 of us and there were tables available outside. The guys working said they closed in 1 hour and that they could not help us. They actually didn’t close til 1.5 hours later and told us to go to a diner instead. We asked if we could just take it to go and they said they only do dine in. Personally I think that’s horrible business and i will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone. Sounds like lazy employees if you ask me.

Our group of 7 went in at 10:00 am on a Thursday to have breakfast here. There was nobody waiting for a table, and the parking lot wasn't full. They had two four seater tables empty. We were refused service due to the size of our party, even though we were happy to sit separately. We were told that they do not accept larger parties and that it would be a minimum two hour wait even if they could take us.

WOW WHAT?! This place is amazing, my husband and I spend alot of time in gatlinburg and pigeon forge living just an hour outside of town, and have never eaten here until today. This will be our breakfast spot from now on! The service was amazing, the workers so kind and responsive. The food was seriously the best flavor and portions you’re gonna find out here. The prices are more than fair too, this is home made breakfast but better. Come early if you want to be seated immediately.. I would say tho, it’s worth the wait. Tiny but mighty, we loved the energy atmosphere! Southern and homey, truly a hidden gem. This was our first time but certainly won’t be our last!

This place is amazing! Highly highly recommend coming here! We stopped in for breakfast and the bacon and pancakes were amazing. On top of great food the staff is awesome very friendly!

VERY tasty breakfast! This is a tiny local place with a very homey feel. The service is impeccable- like you are eating in the owner’s own kitchen. ❤️ Worth the trip if you are up here for Dollywood, etc.
