If I could get past the family that sounded like they had the plague, the menu is basic and the food quality sub par. Be better off going down the street to a chain.

The lamb burger was AMAZING! We got the fried deviled eggs for an appetizer, the lamb burger and the pimento cheese burger. Everything tasted so good and it was a great atmosphere. The waitress was also great and attentive. Inside was festive and had several decorated Christmas trees. Would definitely come back anytime! Highly recommend coming here during your Pigeon Forge visit

I really wanted to like this restaurant. The high number of reviews and menu looked great, but overall the whole experience reminded me of eating at a Red Robin.
Our burgers were big, flavorless and borderline raw. The appetizer wasn’t bad but all in all the Local Goat is NOT the G.O.A.T. I wouldn’t recommend to a friend and wouldn’t go back

Flavorless. Bland. Knoxville has far better for less.

One of the best meals we had on our trip! Menu has wide variety of options and everything was delicious and portions are huge. We were also surprised to find out everything was made from scratch including hamburger buns. We went for lunch as soon as they opened so had no wait but there was already a long wait by the time we left so plan accordingly.

Great place!! Food was delicious. Server was fantastic. My only complaint is that the tomatoes on my steak salad were a little mushy. Will definitely be back!

We stopped in for lunch. The website showed no reservations available, but we were able to show up and get in with no issues.
The nachos are solid. Huge portion so there’s plenty to share with the whole table. The Farmhouse Burger was INCREDIBLE, and the Pimento burger was also great.
Management- our waitress Kiley C was incredible. She was very sweet, checked in on us regularly, and made sure our drinks were topped off any chance she got. Kiley deserves some recognition for her incredible service.

Very nice restaurant. Our burgers were a little too salty, and one was a little too sweet. Also, it seemed like we got the leftover fries. Would definitely give it another chance, though.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is quite possibly the best quality and tasting food in the area. I can not wait to go back. The service was great and the restaurant was clean.
I stand by this being a must eat restaurant when visiting.

Local Goat was recommended to us by a family member that had traveled to the area some time ago. Years have passed and you know... the food even now is just as good as he promised. It's great to know that they remain consistent through the years and quite a delight to visit.
Our wait was quite long but it was worth it.
Our server was knowledgeable of the menu and easy to speak with. I don't usually order fancy drinks but at his suggestion I got the funky monkey... I stopped at one but the mix was so yum that I could have had more!
We ordered an appetizer and if you have read other reviews you may venture to guess that we simply had to try the deep fried deviled eggs.
I think my husband liked these more than I did. Don't get me wrong they were tasty but I found I didn't want the deep fried white part of the egg. The yellow mix was great and topped with a tiny bit of bacon. If you like deviled eggs and want to try something new I definitely recommend this appetizer.
We ordered the fish and chips and the teriyaki filet kabobs. I tried to talk my husband into the bison meatloaf but he was really wanting that fish.
The star of the night was the teriyaki kabobs. I swear... this is one of the best dishes I've had in a very very long time. Tender... tender... and tender. The husband enjoyed his fish but he admitted that my food was best and I shared it with him because I'm just that darn sweet! Hehehe
Even with both of us eating from my plate there were still leftovers. So the portion sizes were considerable.
OH! And the sautéed spinach with garlic... I can't leave that out. It was better than I could have even fathomed.
We will definitely return here when we visit again.
The Christmas goat shirts are cute as can be too so I had to get one.
Thanks so much for such a terrific experience. We look forward to coming again soon.
