Mellow Mushroom Pigeon Forge

We always start our vacation when we arrive at Mellow Mushroom on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. We always get the Maui Wowee and it was as good or better than ever this time,,,actually ordered take out again to get this great pizza. Wow,,say that backwards..Usually a pretty long wait but it was not bad this time..Sometimes the goodies slide to the middle leaving an extra wide doughy edge,,but their dough is so good that does not matter..First pizza on arrival was full of great jerk chicken and all the rest but the take out was missing about half of what expected,, so cannot give a 5 as usual... Got one complaint though...Those of us old folks that do not use apps as such have a hard time calling order in for pickup,,they wont answer phone and prefer us to use the app ,which i do not like to do..Sometimes you get through to someone and sometimes you do not,,but they surely dont like to take orders over the phone,,gets worse every year...Hurts the experience

Went in on my birthday looking forward to eating here while on vacation. Got seated with menus, and sat there for 15 minutes while another table that came in 5 minutes after we did got waited on. The place wasn't the busy for a Monday afternoon, so no real reason to be ignored. We finally gave up and left. Went to another pizza place down the street. As a former employee who worked at Mellow Mushroom while in college in Atlanta back in '88, this is just inexcusable.

Zyan was amazing. We have gluten allergies in our group and he made sure we were taken care of. They have the biggest canzones I have ever seen!

So many options on the menu. We had the Cloud 9 wings & the Holy Shiitake pizza. Both were amazing! We’ll definitely be back!

The pizza was adequate to fair. Service was fair. As with most places, music was loud. Price was very high. Too many other choices for pizza to eat here again.

We love this Mellow Mushroom location! The food is always consistently delicious, and they do a fantastic job with to-go orders. Every time we’ve ordered, it’s been fast, fresh, and accurate—no mix-ups or cold food, which we really appreciate. It’s become a tradition for us, and we make sure to order from here at least once every trip we take to Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are very much not vegan friendly. We spent a lot of the time hungry. So glad we found the Mellow Mushroom! We came to this location because other reviews said there was tempeh but we were told no tempeh due to tariffs on Chinese food products for now. Doesn’t matter though - the pizza is so good without it and the staff are excellent! Ordered a large for the two of us and the leftovers saved us later when we couldn’t find any vegan options near our hotel.
