We always start our vacation when we arrive at Mellow Mushroom on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. We always get the Maui Wowee and it was as good or better than ever this time,,,actually ordered take out again to get this great pizza. Wow,,say that backwards..Usually a pretty long wait but it was not bad this time..Sometimes the goodies slide to the middle leaving an extra wide doughy edge,,but their dough is so good that does not matter..First pizza on arrival was full of great...
Went in on my birthday looking forward to eating here while on vacation. Got seated with menus, and sat there for 15 minutes while another table that came in 5 minutes after we did got waited on. The place wasn't the busy for a Monday afternoon, so no real reason to be ignored. We finally gave up and left. Went to another pizza place down the street. As a former employee who worked at Mellow Mushroom while in college in Atlanta back in '88, this is just inexcusable.
We love this Mellow Mushroom location! The food is always consistently delicious, and they do a fantastic job with to-go orders. Every time we’ve ordered, it’s been fast, fresh, and accurate—no mix-ups or cold food, which we really appreciate. It’s become a tradition for us, and we make sure to order from here at least once every trip we take to Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
