Went in on my birthday looking forward to eating here while on vacation. Got seated with menus, and sat there for 15 minutes while another table that came in 5 minutes after we did got waited on. The place wasn't the busy for a Monday afternoon, so no real reason to be ignored. We finally gave up and left. Went to another pizza place down the street. As a former employee who worked at Mellow Mushroom while in college in Atlanta back in '88, this is just inexcusable.
Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are very much not vegan friendly. We spent a lot of the time hungry. So glad we found the Mellow Mushroom! We came to this location because other reviews said there was tempeh but we were told no tempeh due to tariffs on Chinese food products for now. Doesn’t matter though - the pizza is so good without it and the staff are excellent! Ordered a large for the two of us and the leftovers saved us later when we couldn’t find any vegan options near...
I would highly recommend visiting here! Everything from the food to the service was outstanding! My wife has a ton of allergies and firstly they had plenty of options she can have, and also our server Cecelia was so kind and helpful about all of my wife’s allergies. This would be a go to spot if we didn’t live so far away!
