Mel's Classic Diner

Want a chocolate malt? Go to Mel's diner and ask for Patrick. He is very personable and we enjoyed having him as our waiter tonight. He made us the best malts that we have had in a very long time. Nice and thick with plenty of malt, exactly the way we like them. Thanks Patrick!!

SO DISAPPOINTING!!! 1st visit will sadly, be my last visit. Was hopeful because of some positive reviews Re: portion & price. My experience was very very different, especially for what ended up being a $20 dollar sandwich w tip!!
Ordered take-out patty melt, requested dry-grilled (no added butter or oil when grilling- asked this 3 separate times on phone to ensure it’d actually happen) w substitute/add-on onion rings (which are not house-made tho they charge like they’re something special, even giving them a name. Additional $3. for 5 mediocre rings): The sammy was soggy & shiny from all the oil added while grilling, YUCK!!! Had to wrap it in a napkin to try to eat, it was disgusting. The patty only filled 1/2 the sandwich, leaving the other 1/2 w a small segment of the burger patty. Opposite of generous! Additionally, the grilled onions on it were mostly the outer, inedible skins of the onions which I had to continue to pull from my mouth because they’re impossible to chew; Who’d want to? The restaurant was not even busy! Anyway, that’s about it for this reviewer…feeling a bit nauseated just writing this! 🤢 There are soooo many other Dinner/Diner options, my advice, choose one of them…Or take your chances and good luck! 🍀

Food was great and our waitress was awesome! This place has late hours for those of us who was cruising the strip for the jeep invasion till it got rained out and we was all hungry! Even though they was busy everyone we encountered was friendly except the gal at check out she made me feel like we was disturbing her from her phone but everyone was else was super friendly!!

Nothing beats the music from the 50's and 60's love it. Food was good,and the waitress Ms. Dawn was very nice. Dont change nothing. Wish there were more diners like Mel's

What a great throw back to the good old days! We loved this diner! The menu has an amazing variety of food and very reasonable prices. Try the pulled-pork sandwich and mashed potatoes!

We tried Mel's again after staying away a few years. The food was mediocre but wouldn't keep me from returning. What will stop me from coming back is the employee that was running the register. Never spoke to us or said Thank You. Mel's, you want a Friendly person to be the last person

Great place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner!! We went for dinner, the chicken tenders meal was so yummy, chicken was very juicy and lightly breaded. It was so delicious that we went back the next day for breakfast!!
