Did a tasting with Alexis, had a great time as she cracked jokes and made it a fun experience trying new drinks.
Only problem I had was buying so much. 😬 Loved the people and the experience!
We did not feel welcomed here unfortunately. My boyfriend and I took a vacation in Pigeon Forge. I am black and he is white. We visited the Barn while checking out the sites. They were not busy when we arrived so we'd hoped for good service. It took about 20 minutes or so before our waiter came to our table. She threw menus at us and acted like she didn't want to be there. A white family took a seat in the booth behind us and they were immediately serviced by our waiter, who seemed more than excited to wait on them. We got a few looks from the staff before my bf realized I was the ONLY black customer in the entire restaurant (which now had started to get busy). We quickly got our check, paid and walked out. This was the only place that we visited in PIGEON Forge where we felt like we weren't welcomed. It's a shame that businesses, especially in tourists spots, still have noticeable racism from the staff. We won't be back!!!
Best place to try moonshine.
We stood in line for a tasting and, after the group ahead of us finished, we approached the bar ready to pay and begin. At that moment, staff began placing “reserved” signs out. When we asked if we were still going to be served, one employee told us yes — that the signs were for a clogging group arriving later. However, a minute later, another staff member told us they were actually closing that side of the bar for the group.
In the end, we waited around 15 minutes and were never served. This situation could have been handled much better. A simple heads-up while we were waiting — or clear communication when we walked up — would have avoided confusion and frustration.
Place was busy but they handled it pretty well. Bartender Big Country was funny. Paid $8 for the premium tasting which was well worth it and you then get a $5 off coupon. We bought 3 jars and earned a free cooler bag, that was great for carting our haul through the rest of the shops.
Our fault for not doing research but we didn’t realize it was in the middle of a big shopping/entertainment center and the place was packed!
Awesome tasting experience! Savage was a great host!
Me & my Dad both did the 12 tastings for $8 each. Ryan was a great and really funny bartender. I really enjoyed getting to taste them, and some of their cream moonshines are dangerous with how good they taste 😅 We bought probably too many moonshines lol. Highly recommend the brownie and the sour watermelon. Great experience overall!
Such a fun experience with the bartender Savage. The energy, the vibe, the jokes and banter were all amazing thanks to him. I loved everything I got to try and see! Can’t wait to visit again.
So much fun...you highly recommend it. Love the ideas and the history

Definitely a place you must stop at. The tastings are great and the selections are amazing. They have moonshine, whiskey, shirts, and a whole lot more.
Did the sample tasting. The place was really neat. Even walked out with some drinks.
Not a great photo…but the tasting was great! The picture is of the banana pudding moonshine. The apple pie and so watermelon was the best for us. And the service was excellent 😊😊😊😊
Me and the wife stopped here to complete our ole smokey passport. I bought moonshine at all 3 locations. I regret nothing money well spent
Coby is the best!!!
