This restaurant is absolutely wonderful! We had empanadas and the cuban sandwich, so delicious! I live here locally and have gone here two days in a row just this week! The employees are always friendly, work hard and make the most amazing food! Everyone needs to try their awesome food! 🙌❤️

We always have at least one meal at The Smokies Cuban Cafe when we travel to the Smokie Mountains. The food and service is always the best! We especially love the Yuca Frita (fried yuca) and the Cubano Sandwich and Platinos (green fried plantains). We have never rose early enough to try them for breakfast but we know they have some breakfast foods and hope to try them some day soon. Highly recommend!

The flavors are amazing! Ask for their homemade habanero sauce and always leave room for a guava and cheese empanada. The cilantro dipping sauce goes great with the Yucca. Put the black beans on the white rice. Great flavors and the guava juice drink was awesome!! Need to franchise this place. Need one in Johnson City.
