Their tacos were delicious and the service was great. This little, off-the-main-road restaurant was packed, but we found a table and got our tacos quickly.
The closest thing to Mexican food in East TN. This little place makes you feel like you’re eating at the market in Mexico! Service is friendly too.

An authentic, super friendly, and helpful family-run business. The food is tasty and fresh. Typical strip-mall setup, the salsa and topping bar is a nice touch. Taco platter is a great value and includes a drink.

Food was soo good. Don’t mind the environment, it’s all about the food. These are probably some of the best street tacos i’ve ever had. They also have good Agua de Limón. Birria tacos and tortas are amazing as well. 10/10

I’ve been coming to Taqueria La Zacatecana very often, both for dining in and takeout, and I’m always impressed. The Spanish staff are warm, professional, and handle guests with great care. Their restrooms are always clean and hygienic, and the food is consistently fresh and served hot. Special mention to Louis, who is an excellent server he speaks professionally and makes every visit enjoyable. I truly recommend this restaurant; it’s always a great experience!

Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten in years. Very authentic. They have a salsa/topping bar filled with some great salsa and the carnitas was TO DIE FOR.
The restaurant was very clean, and the employees friendly.
10/10 will come here again next time I visit!

This is a classic hole in the wall that you'll love.
An unassuming and easy-to-miss corner storefront of a strip mall, you'll step inside and wonder if you picked the right place because it looks like a cafeteria smushed into a retail space (because it probably is).
You have, indeed, found the right place.
