We were disappointed by our visit on 10/05 for dinner. The hostess didn’t acknowledge us when we came in. We had to get her attention (this should’ve been our first clue to leave). It was a long wait for a table. We never got a waiter. One of the hostess took our food and drink order. The cook brought out the food. And we had to flag someone down for our check. Everyone we spoke with was very kind but the place was an absolute mess. We were watching other tables experience the same issues as us and everyone looked pretty miserable. Food was lacking on presentation severely. The portions were rather small for $13 plus per entree. Attached is a photo of the mac & cheese with boneless wings. There are a million restaurants in Pigeon Forge, don’t waste your time on this one.

Me and my family came to Tennessee visiting from Ohio. We stopped at this restaurant and had an amazing meal and the server Toren had a great vibe as well as everyone else. The food couldn’t have been better and we enjoyed our experience very much!!! Would recommend for anyone who wants a good family dining experience in pigeon forge tn.

Caesar salad with chicken wasn't at all good. Lettuce was old/wilted with WAY too much dressing. Chicken was blah with no taste.

this is our fifth trip to pigeon forge and we try different restaurants each time. Fat Bear Family Tavern is definitely at the top. Our two boys requested that we come back the next day. Food and service were excellent. Our server (Toren) and the other staff were very quick and attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant especially since some of the restaurants in pigeon forge are underwhelming. Fat Bear Family Tavern stood out and we will certainly return.

Our family stopped in after a full day at Dollywood, and my wife and I couldn’t have been happier with the choice! The service was attentive, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everything was cooked fresh to order. The kids loved their spaghetti and mac & cheese meals, and my wife and I shared the jalapeño smash burger — it absolutely hit the spot! We’re already looking forward to many more visits.
