I ordered the potato pancakes as per usual, they were amazing. Will continue to return for this tasty appetizer. This is the whole reason I come. The other food is great but if you can get your hands on some of these potato pancakes with applesauce, you’re in for a treat.

First off, the waiter smelled so bad. The BO smell was off putting. The restaurant was dingy and worn and didn’t give a German feel at all. The food was sad. The pork schnitzel was super dry and flavorless and the sauce tasted like it came from a cheap can. The pot roast tasted like over salted canned soup. The beers were good. But overall disappointing and overpriced.

We were very excited for a German restaurant. First glance at the menu and we knew we weren't getting German food. Potato pancakes were confused breakfast hashbrowns, schnitzel was spongy, leberkase was a club ham sandwich, red cabbage was super hot and super mushy. Not authentic German, was someone's attempt at German food that read about it once in a book.

First time in Pigeon Forge, and this was the first place we decided to eat at. So good, we went back a second time! The bartender Mike is amazing! The food is outstanding, especially the Wild Bear Club Sandwich! Great place to eat!

Food was amazing! I was a little worried seeing that it was attached to a motel but don't let that dissuade you! The potato pancakes were amazing, service was very good and the tavern setting was warm and welcoming!

This is a terrific German restaurant. We had the potato pancake appetizer and the sausage sampler appetizer. This was enough food to fill four hungry people or six with a regular appetite. Pancakes were really good. We had three large links of sausage, sauerkraut, red cabbage, and rye bread on the sampler platter. Everything tasted great. Great service and attentive staff also.

My wife makes better schnitzel, theirs is like it was smashed in panini maker dry and no flavor. Everything else was good just over priced.
Excellent food with nice portion sizes.
