Had biscuit and gravy, where I am from the gravy is made from pork sausage! The gravy had the taste of kindergarten glue ( no sausage), and the biscuit was a day old! Waitress had a smile, when the young lady said anything I couldn't hear her and seemed unfriendly. Waited for our check for about 5 minutes, there was 1 more couple in the establishment, never came. So we went to the cashier and paid. One person on here said it was the best place to eat in Pikeville, because it's the only place! Definitely lost my business!

It is a terrible place to eat ! I'll never return there for sure. The waitress was a young, pretty girl . She did her job well, but the food was like slop.

Stopped in 15 minutes till closing at 11 am. The staff were friendly and not too upset. The food was delicious. I had a BLT that hit the spot. Enjoyed the food.

Pikeville Family restaurant was better than Cracker barrel, which we ate @ 2 weeks prior. Food could have been warmer, but it was Good. We will eat there again.

Great service. Wasn't a long wait, amd food was hot and fresh! I had waffles & chicken, and husband had biscuits & gravy, eggs, bacon potatoes. We both need to be rolled out after the amount food they brought us! Nice quite little atmosphere, with some good tunes in the background. Loved it all around; definitely will be returning!

Hands down, best place for breakfast in Pikeville. I have several food allergies and the standard menu included standard options that accommodated my needs, no extra charge. The portion sizes were good, the food delicious, the staff fantastic. And, if you want espresso coffee, this is definitely the place in Pikeville. I’ll definitely be back.

We enjoy Morgan Brothers BBQ so much, we’d been wanting to try their Family Restaurant in Pikeville. But as it’s a pretty good drive to get there it hasn’t been convenient. However, we were privileged to eat breakfast here yesterday. And we are glad we finally had the chance to try them out.We each had the western omelette. One with salsa and one without. Both were excellent, cooked to perfection and the service was perfect! The waitress was attentive, keeping our coffee cups full.Speaking of which, the coffee was delicious. I should have asked what brand they serve. I’d go back for the coffee if nothing else. The restaurant was clean and neat with handy “facilities.?

Restaurant is new since our last visit to Pikeville (last year), so we stopped in for a try. I had the big breakfast (3 eggs, meat, seasoned buffet potatoes, and biscuits/gravy) with coffee, and my wife had an omelette.Everything was cooked right and served hot. The biscuits were soft on the inside with a nice crust, covered with plenty of gravy (I chose sausage) and delicious. The bacon was cooked just right, as were the eggs and potatoes. It was a good, hearty breakfast served quickly by friendly folks. The dining room is simple, but sufficient, and was very clean. It is a bit loud in there amidst the chatter of the locals, but, that is just part of the ambiance of small town dining.

We sat down hoping for a good jump to our day. Thought it would be a cute place to eat for breakfast. We didn't even get to eat breakfast between them not having the ingredients for it and how long it took them to even get to us for service. No joy in their tones and faces. Not even gratitude for the tip we gave them. Really hope the food is okay considering not even our drinks tasted decent. Best breakfast restaurant in town, cause it's the ONLY one! Good luck!
