A hidden gem: I was looking for a convenient halfway point to meet friends for lunch. How fortunate we found The Butter Dish! Delicious food, generous portions, and friendly staff! We will definitely be back. And the take out service was busy our entire visit. The locals know a good thing when they see it. Highly recommend!
Folks, if you are looking for a place with great hometown atmosphere and even more awesome food, THIS PLACE IS IT!!! The onion rings are absolutely out of this world… but let me tell you right now… if you don’t try anything else on that wonderful menu… get yourself out of bed early Saturday morning and GO GET A CINNAMON BUN!!! Great place to stop in. I sat on the porch with my dog, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had the shrimp special with honey hot sauce. It was excellent! 8 shrimp, fries, and cold slaw where very filling,! Desserts are homemade. Best carrot cake I've ever had! The only downside was the spring carpenter bees on the porch.
