We have been going here since they opened many years ago and it is by far, my favorite. I love the food, I love the people that run it and all the servers. They treat us like family! Highly recommend you to visit.
We have been going to El Rey for about 4 years. The food is delicious and the employees are very nice. We go a couple times a month and have never had a bad experience. Family friendly with plenty of options!
Good, but not unique...
One of my biggest pet peeves is Mexican restaurants that are exactly like all the rest - I appreciate when a Mexican restaurant does something to make it stand out from the rest. This is a good restaurant with good food, good service, and the same stuff as most every other Mexican restaurant in the city.
Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad place - it is a place like so many others with the same menu.
