El Mesquite Mexican Grill

Cheese dip was cold, asked for beef tacos and got pork, and nachos were fairly soggy. Couldn’t even finish the meal. Don’t mean to sound rude, but it’s by far the worst Mexican restaurant in town.

This is my spot. Cheap beer and great Tex/mex cuisine. Swarthy back room. Makes you feel like a King. Trivia used to be fun, haven’t been in a while. Don’t get caught on a karaoke night or you might get run out.

Good prices spin about little over 20 bucks for two people and still had some leftovers. The deathly rip you on cheese dip now though they made their portion size smaller especially for the price you pay for it

I have always loved this restaurant until recently. My daughter and I took my granddaughter out to lunch for her bday. Luckily, my daughter had lost her appetite due to heat exhaustion and decided to take her plate to go. The minute she touched her taco a Huge roach came crawling out. After the apparent freak out, 2 small bugs go on my granddaughters legs! I will never ever be back!!! The owner/manager disappeared into the kitchen and never came back out!!

5/29/24 i ordered cheesy chicken +steak and rice.. as soon as i opened the to go bag i smelled something so retched the people in the back of the car could smell it… i checked the plate and it did seem different in color and texture than the usual cheesy chicken and rice i get in my home town… next i opened the bowl of pico i got and it was rotted and slimy.. YUCK! i decided to not eat the whole meal based on that, was afraid i would get food poisoning or something. i read some reviews that some people ate the same thing and got food poisoning so i figured id leave a review which i NEVER do! i wish i snapped some pictures of the food but i was too busy finding elsewhere to eat!! oh well. i hope this can keep someone from getting really sick.

-other than that the staff was friendly. we did take the meal back and they kindly refunded us and apologized…

Great little place to eat. They have a lunch buffet from 11a until 1:30p during the week for 10.99.You simply can't beat it for the price.There's is a huge parking lot you can get a semi into very easy as well.

Been here often. Never again. Got to-go order for the family. Spent 70 bucks. While we we eating, one family member found a roach in the salid and it all went into the trash. They can enjoy that 70 bucks because it's the last money they will get from me! Eat at your own risk!

It was pretty good! Lots of vegetarian options. Good wait staff.
