This was our first time in.. the food was great

Arrived, and sat, mattress was nice, no concerns.
Went to order, she said, it would be about an hour, cause they behind on the grill.
Nope, moved on.
Love Mom/Pops, but dint have a hour, sorry.

Great Breakfast...

Food good. Service bad. Very bad. Is workers are lazy and slow. Don't come here if you're hungry. Don't come here unless you have two or three hours to spend eating one meal. If you're not one of the regular old people , then they literally won't even care about you.

Our group of three arrived on a Saturday morning just before 9 am.

We placed our order within five minutes. The waitress who took our order was very friendly and outgoing. Stood at our table and laughed, joked around, and shared stories for about five minutes.

Sat for over thirty minutes without anyone checking on us or even refilling coffee (a simple thing to expect in a small town diner with less than twenty tables). People, including larger groups, that came in after us were getting served.

A young waitress finally stopped and refilled my coffee, the original waitress stopped by a few minutes after to check on us, we mentioned we were hungry and she said they were working on it now.

Waited another thirty minutes and they still had not started our order. Some of the people who arrived after us were FINISHING their meals, so we paid for drinks and left.

Left with a feeling of being forgotten and ignored.

They have good burgers and breakfast sandwiches, and seem to do charity events to feed some of the poorer residents. It sort of has a dingey 1950's cafe style and menu, some people may like the atmosphere.

Great tasting food. Friendly service. Our waitress and staff were so kind and friendly. Price was extremely reasonable.

I can't say that my server was terrible bc she was new. What I can say is 2 of us ordered breakfast and waited an hour for food. People who walked in after us were served their food first. We asked twice about our order and were told it's being prepped. When our order finally arrived it was not correct. They didn't correct it on the ticket so when we paid they tried to charge us for food we didn't receive. I'm not sure why this tiny restaurant took so long but honestly can say we will not go back.Edit to add. The biscuits were good and the omelet was really good. Just not worth the hour wait.

Great place for breakfast. pancakes are large. Homemade biscuits were great. Gravy was not sausage gravy. Can not beat the prices!

Great local vibes even better tasty food. All breakfast is great and I love the patty melt with curly fries for lunch.
