We just moved to Alabama and this was our first stop to grab a bite to eat for lunch. The atmosphere was very inviting. The customer service was great and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes. We will definitely be back here. Dylan was our hostess and was very helpful in recommendations.

After looking at the menu on line, I was hesitant to try this place. I am glad I did because I was very happy with everything! We went with my husband, sister and brother in law (who treated me and hubby for our birthdays) and my review is based on the dish I ordered and the food I tasted. The fried green tomatos were delicious. I ordered the blackened catfish with garlic cheese grits and blackened green beans. Not a dish I would ordinarily eat, but it was delicious.The sauce complimented the dish very nicely, and the grits were very good. If you are not a fan of grits, just try these. I don't think you will be disappointed. For dessert, we had the lava cake with ice cream and strawberry sauce. Again, delicious! Watch out. They are not kidding on the lava part. The ice cream and sauce are in separate containers, which is great. The wait staff was very friendly. Definitely will be going back. There are no salt and pepper shakers on the tables. The food is so tasty, but not salty, that you don't need them.

Lunch was awful! The drinking glasses were plastic and filthy and had a chip in the plastic glass! The appetizer muffins were dry and tops burnt, to much garlic in butter. The turkey in the sandwiches looked like spam!! The high amount of the turkey sandwich was NOT worth it!!We had watched three waitresses not want to serve our table so the male waiter, (employed four weeks) did a good job! The atmosphere was nice. This restaurant gets a big one star on rude lunch staffers! Terrible food. Will not be back!!

First time going for dinner and it was really good. The special tonight sounded real good but I couldn't pass up the pork chop after the wood roasted oysters. Overall the food was great and Will was a great waiter. He was able to answer our questions about the menu and was very attentive on refilling our drinks.

I’m so saddened to give them a one star because I used to really enjoy the experience here. I went to eat at Southern Table at 5pm on Saturday Sept 27, 2025. Both my stepdad and my husband got meat. My stepdad’s steak was blue when he asked for medium rare. My husband’s steak burger was completely raw. So much so it caused him to get ILL DO NOT EAT HERE OR YOU WILL GET SICK A completely health code violation. It was so raw you could see the lines still from where the beef ground like it comes raw in the package.
