I expected more from this place, although the menu is very similar to Puerto Nuevo's, it lacks a lot to match it. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Molcajete, everything was good except the beef, it was a little tough, but, for the amount of food, the price is excellent.

Steak nacho with diced tomatoes onions sour cream and right spice . Not too spicy but definitely yum.

We were disappointed that Puerto Nuevo was gone but this place seems to be the same food under a different name.
No clue as to why they changed the name but everything else seems the same - same food, same building, just a different sign up now.
The servers were nice and the ambiance is nice and I am glad we got to sit outside since it was pretty warm out.

We were so disappointed when Puerto Nuevo closed here, but then cautiously optimistic when we heard a New Mexican spot was opening here. We tried it on a week night, and were seated immediately. The first thing we noticed was the the AC seemed to not be keeping up, which was pretty much the only negative. Otherwise, we found it to be an improvement over the old ownership. The food was hot, good portions and really delicious! Our server was very sweet and our drinks stayed filled. We will most definitely be back!
