The Appalachian Station at 19E

JD and the staff at The Appalachian Station at 19E were great. JD went out of his way to help me out at the end of my AT journey, and for that I am eternally thankful. Fabulous beer selection and very knowledgeable bar tender. Anything I requested, he could give me a perfect solution. And the Rueben sandwich is on point!

Thank you for your hospitality at the end of our recent hike...such sweet and welcoming owners with a great food and drink selection. We will see you next time :)

We live just down the road so we haven’t stayed at the hostel, but love coming up to the Station at 19E to grab a drink! Friendly staff and a variety of beer. Check out their Facebook Page for all their upcoming events.

My husband and I stopped by on Sunday, we have been driving past it for years and always saying we needed to go and we as so glad we finally did.

The bartender pointed us to drinks that matched our tastes and was warm and welcoming.

The BLT I ordered might have been the best BLT I have ever eaten! I forget what my husband atr but he was very happy. Our whole drive home (45 min) was talking about what a great time we had and how soon could we get back!

They had a pool table, darts, clean bathrooms, rooms for rent, and a friendly wonderful staff. (OH and chickens!!!!)

I truly cant wait to go back!

Just a little bit up the hill from the Appalachian trails intersection with 19 E. We stopped by for lunch after hiking the Carver’s notch to 19 E section. Really a very friendly atmosphere and good food. They also have a hostel that caters to people hiking the Appalachian Trail. I also picked up some local jars of apple butter and jam.

I had a wonderful stay here during my thru-hike last year. I was picked up at the trailhead road crossing right on time. The wings at the pub were excellent, and I had a Stella Artois that went perfect with it. My maildrop package was waiting on me when I got there. Thanks! P-Rex

Good place I would recommend for hiking seasons or even couple beers to meet the locals.

Great hostel. Amazing food. Wide selection of drinks. Billiards table and live music on Saturday night. Laundry and hot showers. Friendly bartenders with knowledgeable drink selection. Very knowledgeable about the AT. Good shuttle service. That have it all.

What a diamond in the ruff. Found this quaint local watering hole on our way to sugar mountain. Food was great. Company was great. Beer was great. Stop on in you won’t be disappointed!
