Went for dinner & a couple beers. Best bar food I’ve had in a long time, good priced drinks, good service, good location. A few picnic tables out back, a nice stage and seats, huge beer selection, no liquor though.

I've never stayed here; I am not a thru hiker. I love to stop in and have a meal after a good hike. They use quality products, and you can taste the difference. Sandwiches, potato wedges, Mac and cheese, all of it is DELICIOUS! They have good beers on tap.
The staff are welcoming, full of information, and conversation. This will always be one of my favorite local eats in the area!!!

Wonderful stay while volunteering in the community for hurricane relief. The food in the pub was excellent and I slept so good. I'm so glad I made the call to see if ya'll had room vs sleeping in my truck for 3 nights. Karaoke was a nice suprise end to a long day on Friday. I'll definitely be back. Thank you again for your hospitality, ya'll are truly a gift to Roan and the hiking community.

I met my friend here who is hiking the AT. The hostel was clean and had everything you needed. The Pub was AMAZING! Incredible beer selection and the best dang beer-tenders around. We had a great time and the owners were so warm and welcoming. A definite must stop if you are in the area!

Locals and non-locals LOVE the Station! It’s a positive atmosphere where all sorts of souls mingle and have fun, all while munching on good food and downing refreshing drinks. There’s just something so cool about hanging simultaneously with folks from every day, people from high school, and total strangers from across the globe, all at the same time! It’s a total exchange of cultures, and it just plain warms my heart.

Had a fantastic lunch after UTV outing at High Country. Nothing better than a cold beer with a huge sandwich after riding. Best sandwiches on the mountain.

I’ve stayed here while passing through for three trips now. This most recent trip was with the new owners. The bartender had been there from before & was nice as always. The new owners seemed friendly & kind. The locals were all polite & the travelers fun. If you’re down for a hostel experience, I recommend here. If you’re just looking for dinner or a pub, this is still a fun place to visit.

John, his wife Tanya, and the staff at The Appalachian Station at 19E do a lot to make you feel welcome. They have a huge craft beer selection and fantastic food if you're looking to eat dinner while you drink a few beers. I'd recommend the Guinness on tap or a European wheat beer. You should try the hiker mac and cheese if you're looking for something hearty. I had it with BBQ sauce.

It really shows that they've worked to build a live entertainment community as well. The Appalachian Station at 19E hosts a local bluegrass jam, local and regional performers, and even has a drop down projector for Karaoke. The stage mural itself is plenty enough to stare at. It features beautiful artwork with mountains and plenty of color. I watched the parking lot fill and empty at several points throughout the night. It seems there's always something going on.

If you're section or thru hiking the Appalachian Trail, this is your station to resupply, recharge yourself and your devices, and grab some grub before you head back out the next day. Wi-Fi is on the house! It's a fantastic place to take a zero as well. Section hikers can pay to park and get picked up by a shuttle from the parking lot.

Fun place off the Trail. Very good beer choices and solid bar food. Music stage quiet when we were there.
