Ended up here on a roadtrip and so glad we stopped in! Delicious BBQ run by a lovely family. BBQ Egg Rolls are everything, and great to get some Tri Tip in TN!

Pulled pork has a good mild smoky flavor The baked beans are sweet with a bit of tanginess the potato salad is creamy hint of mustard and the Barbecue sauce I had in this visit was the bourbon sauce very good smooth not overpowering well compliments the pork

If you are riding through Rocky Top, TN around lunch or dinner time, you owe it to yourself to stop here. The owners are great people and they serve excellent smoked tri tip. The Cole slaw is very good too! High recommend.

Had a choice to walk next door to our hotel in Clinton or drive here. SO HAPPY we drove here. Burnt ends were outstanding, banana pudding maybe the best I've ever had & the proprietors the best of the best. So glad to support a great family business with incredible food. Small area to eat in or outdoors at picnic tables. Genuinely wonderful business. You won't be disappointed!

The food is fantastic, and priced reasonably for the amount you get. Their sauces are excellent - we tried the bourbon and original and couldn’t decide which we liked better. The BBQ egg rolls - meat and cheesy mac rolled into an egg roll wrapper, fried, and then dipped in BBQ sauce - are worth the trip alone. My kids loved the baked beans, and my favorites were the street corn and pulled pork. And the banana pudding dessert was incredible.

We stopped here on a road trip, and after six hours in the car my kids were insane. They ran around outside and played all the lawn games - bean bag toss, magnetic darts, etc. The outdoor seating is perfect for families, with games to keep the kids occupied during the (short) wait for food to arrive.

The food was delicious, and great value for the price. We especially loved the baked beans, which are tangy and sweet, and the BBQ egg rolls - genius idea! Don't skip the banana pudding for dessert.

It's a small space inside with lots of outdoor seating. Kid and family- friendly outdoor games are set up outside, and kids happily ran around while waiting for food and after they were finished eating. All in all, a perfect family BBQ spot.

Stopped for lunch on the way north up I-75. We were looking for something more local than fast food and just stumbled upon them. Super friendly service from the minute you walk through the door. Also liked to see that the owners are dedicated to recognizing police, fire, military, nurses, public servants, etc. Lot's of cool badges on display and I believe a discount available to those who serve(d).

We had the pulled pork plate and chicken sandwich with street corn, mac-n-cheese, and baked beans as sides. Both meats were great, super tender and tons of smoke flavor. Street corn was delicious. The spicy BBQ sauce is also unique.

The place itself is tucked away off the main street between a few other buildings so has a cool vibe. There are a few outdoor tables in the sun, more under cover, and the restaurant itself is in an old house. We will definitely be back.

Traveled here from Brushy Mountain State Prison campground on our SXS. Service was great, food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful with plenty for everyone. You could sit inside or out with activities for all ages. Worth the drive through the trailss on Windrock. We will be back.

Heading home to South Carolina from a trip to Wisconsin. Stopped in town for gas and decided it was time for lunch. We make it a policy to never eat fast food when on the road, so we decided to try Grumpa Bear BBQ. Delicious 'cue and sides, quick and very friendly service. Meat was moist and smoky, home made sauces were a real treat, and the prices were quite reasonable. We will most definitely come back next trip!

Super fun spot right of 75. Great food. Smoked flavor in the tri tip was delightful. Smoked mac and cheese was delicious and we enjoyed all the sauces we tried.
