“The absolute best Cajun food North of I-10!!! I made many treks to Papa Boudreaux's Cajun Cafe for their great Cajun cooking when they were in Franklin. I found myself near their weekend restaurant in Santa Fe and placed an order to bring home. Crawfish & Shrimp Étouffée...one of their signature dishes and my absolute favorite. The dish is rich, savory, and you can see the butter creaminess of the dish. The "Holy-Trinity" is plentiful and still maintains its bite. Filled with crawfish along with large shrimp and rice...this meal is the epitome of Cajun cuisine. Christy took excellent care of me and while this is an hour away, I will be back!”

“I don’t see catering on this list but that’s what we did. The barbecue was so tender and juicy I couldn’t stop eating it. The Cole slaw, potato salad and pasta salad were amazing (all better than mine and I’m a proud woman). And, the peach cobbler….holy cow…best ever. If y’all need something catered, you will be thrilled with your decision to go with this amazing establishment.”

“South Ahan has the best cuisine in the Columbia area. I would say in the middle TN area. I was introduced to the restaurant by a coworker. I live about an hour away but let me tell you it’s well worth the trip. Absolutely Delicious Pad Thai!!!”

“Columbia has a SOLID Texas style BBQ joint...Boot Stompin' BBQ. It was late afternoon when I arrived and Bobby (Pitmaster) warmly greeted me and we started talking about BBQ. I like to sample a variety, so I went with the Bobby's Usual of brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and pulled pork with Bobo's Hot Corn + Hillbilly Beans. He offered onions, pickles, and jalapeños as side condiments along with their homemade BBQ sauce. I initially sampled the meats without sauce, but I have to say the sweet/smoky flavor of the sauce is a great compliment to the meats. You can tell Bobby learned his trade from Texas...solid brisket with a thin fat cap with a nice peppery crust. The pulled pork was perfect...moist and tender but still maintaining firmness. While the sausage is not made in-house, you could have fooled me. Nice crispy skin with a good jalapeño kick and plenty of cheese. The sides are exceptional! I loved the sweetness of the beans, and the Bobo Corn (I believe it's grandma's recipe) was addicting. Don't let the name fool you...there's a little heat, but the flavors are wonderful. I chopped a bit of onion and pork into the beans, a great flavor combination. The atmosphere is bright and open with some Texas decor...great place for family. Really good food and excellent service from this TX style BBQ spot...looking forward to my next visit to Columbia for more.”
