Papa Boudreaux's Cajun Cafe Reviews
It has been while since I’ve been to eat here but went last night and food was as great as I remember. Crawfish and shrimp etouffee, boudin balls, redfish, scallops, soft shell crab and beignets everything we got met or exceeded expectations service was also great! Will have to come back more often!! If you haven’t eaten here yet you are definitely missing out!!!
The absolute best Cajun food North of I-10!!! I made many treks to Papa Boudreaux's Cajun Cafe for their great Cajun cooking when they were in Franklin. I found myself near their weekend restaurant in Santa Fe and placed an order to bring home. Crawfish & Shrimp Étouffée...one of their signature dishes and my absolute favorite. The dish is rich, savory, and you can see the butter creaminess of the dish. The "Holy-Trinity" is plentiful and still maintains its bite. Filled with...read full review

Papa Boudreaux's Cajun Cafe is a highly recommended restaurant for a special occasion, known for its exceptional Cajun food and massive portions. The etouffee and redfish are must-tries, with the redfish being the reviewer's best fish experience. Beignets are a standout dessert, even better than those at Cafe DuMonde. Reservations are required, and cash is the only accepted form of payment. It is widely regarded as the best Cajun restaurant in Tennessee and a must-visit in Nashville.
This cozy little house-looking building on the side of a country road offers an unforgettable experience, not just a meal. The food is fresh, not too spicy, and served hot off the stove. Must-try dishes include the Gospel Creole, Boudin Balls (hot and crispy!), and Oyster shooters. The gumbo and etouffee are also very good. The place is small, with only about 10 tables, and fills up fast. BYOB is allowed for beer and wine. While the atmosphere is friendly, the staff’s casual vibe might surprise some. Despite its quirks, the food lives up to the hype—damn good and worth the drive.
