What a lovely brunch experience at La Bella Pearl! The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful — classy but comfortable, the kind of place you can sit back, sip your coffee, and just enjoy the moment. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right from start to finish.
The made-to-order waffles and omelets were out of this world — fresh, light, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. Every plate that came out looked picture-perfect.
If you’re looking for a spot that combines upscale dining with warm Southern hospitality, La Bella Pearl is it. Beautiful setting, top-notch food, and service that makes you feel right at home.

If I wasn't dining there because it was a family dinner I would definitely not have chosen this place. I paid $160 for 3 people and none of us finished our steaks. And we are steak lovers!! If the food was better than I would not have a problem with the price.
I was trying to reply to the reply of my review and apparently I can't. I have receipt from October the 18th, including the tip I left I paid $160.93, My card I paid with was charged 193.12... that's 32.19 more than I should have paid. I would like to know why. Please.

Cannot rate the food. I called to make a reservation. A nice lady returned my call. I made reservations for two on Thursday afternoon at 5:30. No confirmation number.
Before leaving for our trip, I called 3 or 4 times and left a call back message to confirm. No one ever called back.
Arrived at La Pearl’s at 5:25 pm. The sign said closed.
This place is very hard to reach.

We had a party of 6 for dinner during busy sewanee parents weekend.. our service, meal and atmosphere were all absolutely amazing! The antipasta bar is by far the best Mediterranean salad bar I've ever had! All our entrees were fresh, delicious and arrived hot! Our server was so attentive. We received a piece of cheesecake on the house and wow! Dessert was the perfect icing on the cake of a delightful culinary experience. The Belgian waffle, with fresh strawberries and strawberry sauce and whipped cream, was perfectly wonderful. The omelet, with a number of fresh ingredients, was perfectly prepared and presented. The fruit and salad bars were loaded, lovely and very fresh. The service was fantastic, friendly and totally unobtrusive. A terrific experience to be repeated as often as possible.
We loved the international night of cuisine featuring foods of the Basque region (Spain and France). Each course was introduced by the chef, along with explanations of the ingredients, flavors, and preparation. Such variety and wonderful flavors in every one of the five courses. It was absolutely perfect! Can’t wait to go back!

Oh my goodness!! This place, this place! The food was amazing! Seasoned to perfection and every bite let us wanting more. We don’t normally do dessert, but when you serve peach cobbler cheesecake and homemade bread pudding….we had to indulge ourselves and I’m glad we did! The salad bar!

The salad was excellent. The pork tenderloin was good but was served on such a cold plate that it was slightly chilled when I took the first bite. The restaurant was cold enough that my wife needed to put a jacket on at one point.
