Really good prepared food prices. Tacos were great, loved the chorizo. It was extra greasy (good extra flavoring) which I sopped up with the adobada tacos. Carnitas was basically pulled pork, no crisp, no sour bite or anything. But not offensive at all. Just stick with the chorizo and Pastor, maybe an asada or two and you'll be happy.
We stopped in for lunch today, first time ever to go. We weren't sure, at first, if it was just a grocery store, but a very nice young man directed through the building, for restaurant seating. I have to say, I have never had fajitas as good as theirs, and I thought I was an expert on fajitas, since I eat them so often, and at so many different places. There are a ton of Mexican restaurants to choose from in Shelbyville, but this one shot right on up to the top of our list!...
This place is the best for authentic Mexican food! I have been coming here for years! Incredibly nice people! The food is amazing and never disappoints! I recommend getting the mixed marinated steak and chicken nachos but you wouldn’t be disappointed in anything you decide to get here!
