Unfortunately our experience at Barrel House BBQ wasn’t memorable. I hope it was just a fluke and a combination of unfortunate timing. Started by having to wait it a long slow moving line. Had lunch here prior to a tour of the distillery. I had been looking forward to eating here for weeks because I love good bbq and the reviews were good. I ordered the ribs, baked beans, Mac n cheese, green beans and my Bf had the nachos. By far the worst ribs I’ve ever had! Whatever rub they put on the ribs had too much cumin or something. It was very off putting. The medium bbq sauce had a funny aftertaste and the baked beans had too much bbq sauce. I couldn’t taste the beans...

It's a cute BBQ joint located on the Uncle Nearest Distillery grounds. I ordered the "Grilled Cheese On Crack," the brisket. It was delicious and they did not skimp on the meat. Also ordered sides coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, mac and cheese. Although I wish the sides were a little bigger they were good.
