Order here frequently, usually to go. Chose to dine in. The employees (during the evening shift) are often talking/arguing amongst themselves rather than providing customer service. If they were more attentive and professional, it would be 5 stars.

A bit of a wait. Great sandwich made just the way I asked for it. Fresh meat and veggies. Friendly staff. A bit higher priced than some other sub shops.

April, the franchise owner, clearly takes pride in the quality of her food. Every time I drop by here it's always a good decision. Very nice staff also.

I came in on my way home after a long day today, still in uniform and had my badge on still. It's been a lot of overtime and a rough case today. I didn't know Penn station even had a uniform personnel discount. Jonathan must have been able to tell I was exhausted. He was patient with me, got my order together quickly, and even threw in fries. After the day I've had it made me smile. The food is delicious as well and the place was clean. I had never eaten here before but I'll be stopping by more often.

Atmosphere was fine. The service was exactly what you would expect when going into a sub shop. I got the grilled teriyaki chicken. It had to be the single worst sub sandwich I have ever had. The whole thing was dry. I watched the person weigh everything out. My guess is management teaches the workers to be incredibly stingy. I won't be back any time soon and (at the very least) do not recommend the grilled subs.

i went in here yesterday and they were rude and my sandwich was very soggy and every table was dirty and the bathroom was thrashed.

Mahalo Nui PennStation East Coast Subs for a Great Experience!
We eat here every couple of weeks and always have a good experience. They use fresh bread and ingredients. The people are friendly. Keep an eye out, because they often have good coupons available.
Ordered a regular philly and a chicken philly. I am not entirely sure why the Philly is the only sandwich where you have to add the ingredients manually. Ordering a Philly and not getting onion on it is the same as ordering a reuben and not getting sauerkraut. The picture shows a gorgeous sandwich... That sandwich is nothing like what you get as the standard. You have to sort through the entire menu and add all the stuff in the picture to make it look anything close to the picture. The bread was undercooked and it's a hot sandwich it's meant to be toasted. Terrible Philly. This is a much closer to what a Philly should look like these are my homemade Phillies. The ones on the plates are mine the ones on the wrapper are yours.

1st time since this place opened in Shelbyville tn that we have had a problem. The store is always clean and workers are friendly. But tonight was a girl we never have felt with and she pulled her phone out of her shirt while taking our order and had someone on facetime. Then went and cooked our food as she proceeded to facetime this person. There was one couple in there before us and we waited awhile . We eat here 2 to 3 times a week . The food was not right. Poor experience
