Hummingbird Pastaria

Good Italian restaurant on top of Signal Mountain. Food is nearly always very good. They have moved away from table service and now you order at the back, find a table and they bring your food. I'm not a big fan of this way of serving though as the table service is lost. They do bring out water and bread with the food but that's all the service you'll get.

Definitely our go-to place to eat. I have had just about everything on the menu and love them all.

Meatballs and lasagna were very good. The chicken and farro wasn't as good as I hoped. The chicken could have been seasoned more.

The best restaurant in Signal Mountain? I've been coming here for years and never had a bad meal. Delightful staff, fresh (and local) ingredients, and they really know how to cook Italian food!I came here less than a week after spending two weeks in Italy and *still* had a wonderful meal.The addition of a plant-based menu is simply fantastic. Really helpful for finding something to eat for the whole family.

Závislí was great !Also the pizza with bacon and sweet sauce and mushroom good .Will go back if I have the change .

This place has the most authentic Italian food in the Chattanooga Metro area. Fresh ingredients including the pasta which is made daily. They even have dishes that you normally don’t find at most area Italian restaurants. You order at the counter which is a bit odd given their meals are easily in the upper teens or more. Give it a try.

The BEST Italian I’ve had in as long as i can remember! My wife & i found this place on a quick google search after traveling 6 hours today for a weekend get away stay at Gardens at the Gorge & this restaurant did NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything was SO fresh, so flavorful & staff was super kind. Price was excellent, as well as a cozy, clean atmosphere. Enjoyed every second! We will definitely be back!

Food was great and service was attentive. I had salmon and a beet salad. Right now, you order at the counter and then find a place to sit. The rest of my party had pasta and a pizza. All were pleased.

The food here is so delicious! Everything is so fresh and the homemade pasta is perfect. Love the patio atmosphere, to serene.

It has been awhile since we visited this pastaria, but it was as delicious as when we were last there! You order from the counter where the owner could give you his recommendations of the specials, and then take your seat. We opted for the lovely patio, where the tables had small vases of wildflowers. We tried the caprese salad, cabonara, bruchetta, and hubby had one of their pizzas. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend!

First time, but not the last time. Great as t good, great wine, and a great atmosphere!

This place impressed us so much. Quaint, with old country ambiance. The food was elevated & authentic.We may make the 2.5 hr drive just to come back here again.

Best pasta around! I've been eating here since I was a teenager! (I'm 42)

The bruschetta was good, but the high hopes that I had for this restaurant were squashed about 2 bites into my lamb marsala when I pulled the long black hair out of the bite on my fork. Unfortunately, nothing was done about it and the meal was still full price. Needless to say I did not finish the dish. The service was decent but could definitely use some attention when it comes to timeliness on refills.

This restaurant, the food, and the owners are priceless! Always delicious and the service is wonderful. We are so lucky to have such a special place in Chattanooga!
