Chappy's Bar & Grill offers a nice interior and good service. The fried Jalapenos appetizer was average, but the two-piece chicken plate was delicious. The mac and cheese was served cold, while the sauces were watery. The bill for two people was slightly over $51. The gumbo and fried catfish were authentic and great, but the cole slaw had onions, which one customer didn't care for. With friendly staff, good music, and a welcoming atmosphere, Chappy's has been a favorite spot for over 20 years, offering the best bar food in town.
