New owners! Very friendly and kind. Previous owners were the exact opposite, so glad it’s under new management. EJay is respectful and so kind to the customers. Great atmosphere nice vibe, food is so delicious and fresh. I’ve had the fish, chicken, and gizzards and they were all delicious especially with the honey gold sauce. Sides are also delicious and can’t forget the fruit tea and kool aid. 10/10 recommend

Out of all the Helen's location I've been to this had been thus far the best one I ordered 3 whole lemon pepper wings, fries and catfish the fish was fried and seasoned just perfect wings and fries was good to the guys was really nice the restaurant was very clean to sit listening to good music and eat good food I will definitely be back.

Chicken and waffles were good. Service was amazing. Wait time was 30 minutes though but I don’t blame them since they only have one cook. Cashier guy should help with the orders im ngl. Anything else is good though!

Used to be one of my favorite spots. The wings are the size of my pinky toe now. Literally not even enough chicken to bite into. My husband asked before he purchased eye they the tiny wings and the guy said the size of hishand. I can fit all three in my hand

I was really disappointed to find that Helen's Hot Chicken closed a whole hour earlier than the listed time on Google. I showed up expecting to grab some food before they closed, but the doors were already shut and lights were off. If you're going to close early, at least update the hours online so customers don't waste their time. I was really looking forward to eating here, but now I'm not sure I can rely on this location.

Place is horrible. Stand for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take your order. It’s always the case.

Walk-in counter order on a Thursday night. Hot catfish. Two pieces. Took probably 15 minutes or so. Enjoyed a nice talk about their playlist ('80s RnB), which I liked. Took the fish back to my hotel. It was delicious! Hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked! It was excellent. I'll enjoy the leftover piece for breakfast in the morning, and I may go back for lunch. It was that good!

We ordered some hot chicken from Helen's and was pleasantly surprised. There are new owners and the food was fantastic. There were some things in the past that made us only go there rarely, but it seems much different now. We have been won over again. Great food, and great service.
