Being raised in the delta of MS, I had to bring my mom here when she was visiting and it didn't disappoint! We had the Rib tips and Chicken Livers. Awesome! Everything in this place is made from scratch and I could almost hear the Delta Blues playing in the background. It's a small space but lends itself perfectly to the special type of place it is! All I can say is WOW!!! The food was excellent!! Everyone in our party ordered something different and everybody was humming and rocking enjoying their food! Well seasoned and good portions!!! Worth the drive from Murfreesboro to Smyrna!!

Soul food is not a genre I profess to be an expert in. Quite honestly, I'm too much of a snowflake to make intelligent comments. I have visited a few soul food restaurants and believe this is the best of the bunch. Starting with menu, I will say it is full of soul food dishes.
