i can't believe people eat here. I tried to force the food down my throat because I had paid so much for it. It was HORRIBLE. OVERPRICED. and made me SICK. Any body sayin this food is even ok is either family and friends of theirs or has never had decent soul food. I am so disgusted by the food. The service and the prices.

VERY unwelcoming and rude. Service was very poor and I was treated more like an inconvenience than a patron. She was annoyed with my questions and my need to look over the menu, although it was my 1st visit. Not to mention, overpriced. Never again. I can eat good for less and WITHOUT the stank attitude. Dont waste your time with this place.

All I can say is WOW!!! The food was excellent!! Everyone in our party ordered something different and everybody was humming and rocking enjoying their food! Well seasoned and good portions!!! Worth the drive from Murfreesboro to Smyrna!!

Most ridiculous restaurant I have ever been! I wanted white bread with my spaghetti and fish plate instead of the garlic bread and cole slaw. I was told I couldn't switch sides, and I would have to take it the way it came. The older woman said if I wanted to change anything I would have to order separately. Food was definitely over priced for what I got! Definitely will not be coming back!

wolves in sheep's clothing. good food, bad business. i'm for supporting black businesses, yet not when they're rude, dishonest, & deceiving. don't fall for the menu, gospel music played in the restaurant, or scripture u may see, particularly in their website. they're hypocrites. the lady who's usually at the register / phone & vacuums a lot, who looks to be in her 40s, & the guy with glasses who cooks, but smokes, have been there a while. i think they run the store. i've never spoken to other workers. THEY ARE LIARS & DECEIVERS. the lady argues with u as if she doesn't need your business, & she argues with the guy. they're rude & childish. u will get charged a to go fee without notice. if u miss it & go back to notify them for an explanation or refund, u will be shown the 'hidden' fee & told it's been that way for years. well that should be shown / told prior to purchase. i asked who's the owner & was told Tony, but he wasn't there. i left my contact info. had to call for 2 weeks; the lady who always answered the phone finally tried to change her voice, claiming she just started working there, & there's no Tony / owner she knows to speak with, but if i give my info, he'd contact me. HOW / WHY WORK SOMEWHERE IF THERE'S NO MANAGER / OWNER, & U DON'T KNOW HER / HIM? HOW DID U GET HIRED LIKE THAT? HOW WILL I BE CONTACTED IF I'M BEING LIED TO? i also spoke to the guy & he said he'll have Tony call me. i never got called, so fact remains: they're rude, liars, & deceivers. I NEVER IMAGINED A BLACK BUSINESS WOULD BE THAT WAY, & TOWARDS IT'S OWN..
