Tokyo Japanese Steak House

I called ahead to check on pricing and what items came with a particular to-go meal. The team answered the phone quickly and gave confident answers, but let me know that their system would not allow me to order for a specific time. I called back about 15 minutes before I wanted to pick up my food and, once again, the phone was answered quickly and confidently.

I arrived and immediately know that I was going to give this place a good review. The restaurant smelled delicious, yes, but the staff were all incredibly responsive and friendly. The host quickly went to get my food and was ready to make adjustments on how I needed to pay. Over the phone, I forgot to ask for ginger. As the host ran to the back to get my sauce, someone saw me waiting and within seconds asked if I was being helped. He wasn't the last one.

When I got back to work to eat my lunch, I noticed how much food came with a $15 lunch special. If I were a more responsible person, I could easily have split it all into 2-3 meals. The only reason I took a star off was the soup, salad dressing, and white sauce all tasted slightly differently than other hibachi restaurants. It wasn't bad, just different. The fried pork, fried rice, egg roll, and sushi were all delicious, as were the ginger, white sauce (different but still tasty!), and the tonkatsu sauce.

This team went above and beyond to make my little to-go order feel welcomed and wanted. I don't eat out a ton, as my wife and I are trying to save money, so I want my dollars to count. I truly feel like the excellence in service, amount and quality of the food all make this a place I will definitely be visiting again.

Overall I think this place is okay! It has the traditional hibachi restaurant model without the traditional higher end feeling, service or food but you will still pay the same price.

Facility needs to be updated and cleaned, staff need more training and food needs improvement.

A good hibachi dine in place for families, group of friends, and /or meeting new people if u want too. Chicken hibachi dinner is my favorite and both the chef and waiters can make a great conversation time. Enjoy!

Place has a lot of potential, I think we just got a bad hibachi chef. Sat quickly and service was good- until our hibachi chef came out and didn’t even give a hibachi show. Drove from downtown and we were excited for our daughter’s first hibachi. Our chef was super unprofessional and seemed like he truly just hated his life. He was talking to the other person at our table how he just likes to get drunk after work, didn’t toss us pieces of rice; do any tricks, no volcano. It was lame. The table next to us however looked like they were having fun and it was a traditional show. Bummer that our chef ruined the experience, I’m not too sure we will return

They want to charge $7 for two slices of sushi absolutely not that's not worth it I just wanted sushi not to be robbed

I’m from out of town! I came here with my family tonight & we all absolutely loved it. All around great service from service, chef & food! Highly recommend

They're one of the few Japanese hibachi places that have actual hot paste for dipping instead of something that resembles spicy ketchup at the rest.

Amazing food and staff, have been here many times and my experience is always a wonderful experience. Plenty of food for the price, accommodating to big groups, alcoholic beverages are amazing and worth the price! Family friendly and just all around great restaurant. Would highly recommend!!

I got dumplings here to go not bad nothing crazy tho
