I'm gonna give it 5 stars because the food and service were top notch. Very friendly folks. I'd definitely address the cat stench near the outdoor tables. It smells like a litter box over there.
A true hole-in-the-wall spot with a staff that has been serving up delicious food for years. I've been a happy customer of Shuford's since I graduated Highschool. It has amazing BBQ and burgers. But by far, their most underrated item is their soft served ice cream. For as hot as Tennessee can get in the summer, not enough places have quality soft serve. And the staff is simply heartwarming with can-do attitudes. I'd give them ten stars out of five if I could.
